(Jane had no idea of the material for the session before it began. She sat once again in the Kennedy rocker, across from my writing table, and dictated the material with her eyes closed. She did not smoke during the dictation. Her voice this evening was rather soft; she used some pauses but they were not very long ones for the most part.)

(Break at 9:34. Jane was well dissociated. Her eyes opened slowly at break time. She said her voice as she dictated sounded to her as though “it was two feet above my head.”

(Break at 10:06. Jane was fully dissociated, unaware of all outside influences. She resumed in the same manner, sitting down and with her eyes closed, at 10:12.)

Dreams are felt directly through electrical patterns, and then decoded. The original experience, then, again, is an electric one, and the effects are instantly felt by the human system, according to the original intensity of the charge. I have not spoken much concerning the dream universe, since first it was necessary that you understand the electrical actuality of emotions and thoughts. I shall have more to say on this subject shortly.

(End at 10:30. Jane was dissociated as usual. She ended the session with a smile.
