Erratic use of high intensity energy can be disruptive to the system however, for the change of pace can be too abrupt. The system will automatically pace itself, but he must learn to demand that he himself use the energy. It is not available to all to this degree, and he has a tendency to fall back, so to speak, and not to demand the most of himself. This is when physical difficulties arise. I am not suggesting that he run full steam ahead at every moment. I am suggesting that he use the full force of his available energy for every task at hand. He does not know as yet the full strength inherent in this energy. He is a converter, his system tuned toward converting psychic energy.

It is this energy that he must utilize now to finish the two books he has begun. Quite literally again, all he has to do is demand that the energy is available, and it shall be. He uses this energy quite subconsciously in his psychic work. He must demand of himself that the energy be used however under various circumstances. When he does not do this he lets himself down.

The energy, that propelling supportive energy, used in out-of- body projections, will give astounding results. Ruburt’s image is indeed imprinted most strongly in the mind of every child in his classes yesterday, and this focused energy made this possible. Used in a projection, the same intensity of energy would allow results that could be proven without doubt, and accepted without reservation.

The stimuli that can be used to absorb some of the misdirected energy in the day is no longer available. [...] The more energy that is used on Ruburt’s part in exciting creative ways, the more is available, you see, for therapeutic purposes. The symptoms are denied energy and cannot survive.

The power of his energies, unfortunately, can be seen quite clearly in the severity of the symptoms that the energy formed when it was so misdirected. [...]

This energy is, of course, related strongly with his work. [...] The release of the energy in other directions automatically minimizes the symptoms, and will automatically negate them. [...]

(Re the energy coming from in back of me: Jane said some kind of projection may have been involved here. [...] Yet from this spot behind me there was a part of Jane’s or Seth’s consciousness with energy coming out like a cone, again.

We are directing energy toward your member. [...]

Ideas, being themselves composed of energy, are translated or transformed into other kinds of energy, which you happen in many instances to perceive. On other planes the idea energy is perceived, and the energy transformed into physical fields is not perceived.

A simple example can be seen in the transformation of an idea into a painting, that is the transformation of the energy, the psychological energy of an idea into physical materialization. The idea itself, once you have conceived of it, represents an additional energy component that you build up, formulate and manipulate on the psychological level, and then transform; but the idea itself contains energy.

The idea has an energy potential based upon the innate energy potential of its creator. You are dealing now with what may be thought of as energy envelopes, and this is a most valid description of all realities. Continued experience in conceiving ideas and manipulating them and transforming them actually adds to the available energy of the individual.

[...] I want  you then to realize that the energy within it also is the energy within you. That is, you have the same energy within you, if you decide to use it you can do so. But energy forms depend upon strong, very powerful concentrations of energy whether thought or emotion is involved. These are in your terms, excesses of energy that shoot out from you like stars  but coalesce into a shape and a form. They are usually the result of, in your terms, a long term build up of energy although the same effect can be reached by one extremely powerful image or thought. [...] Now I have always referred to myself as a personality energy essence because it was true and also because it sounded very safe to Ruburt. [...]

[...] I am referring to what you may call freewheeling energy that you release filled with your own intent and emotional coloration which has a reality in other spheres beside your own. [...] They formed through concentrations of energy. Now when you use all of your energy to manipulate in the physical reality there is little left to form such images. Energy itself is continually new—event, and motion, and no particular pattern will suffice it for long. Energy is self-renewing, and indefinite duration of pattern would lead to dead ends. Energy always builds. [...] Energy propels and carries along with it, its own traces.

As energy flows through your field and appears within it, it does so according to its own inherent nature. This nature of energy, believe it or not, includes individualization and consciousness. Therefore, if you will for a moment think of bits of energy, or consciousness, initially without definite form, entering your physical plane, then according to the innate strength and capacity of any given particle it will, on entering your plane, on its own subconscious level already know how small or large a physical pattern it can form.

[...] Energy while being propulsive, is also retentive. [...] Capsule comprehension exists even in the smallest particle of energy, and even within the smallest particle of energy there exists all possibilities of development and creation.

Pretend that the energy within that object is the center of life, so that the whole rest of the universe derives its energy within that stone or flower. Do this until you can feel that energy pulsate within the form of the object, so that the form itself is ever mobile while it retains the semblance, as in a stone, of immobility.

It is easier then to sense and feel the alive energy within and beneath the physical forms that you see. It is easier to feel yourself as the artist, also a part of the landscape that you paint; to sense the merging of your own energy into the scene before you, and to realize that you are a part of it also. [...] (Humorously.) It is easier to realize that the vision and the everalive energy is far more permanent than the forms. The permanency and the timeless quality do not belong to the shapes of the mountains and the trees, but to the conscious energy that forms them.

[...] Attach your own energy to it also. Let the sound of its energy rouse you from your own sleeping. Let it then rouse your own energy, lift you from your sleep. Energy is not only eternal but limitless. There is no limit to the energy that is available to you. Therefore, you do not have to worry that what energy you use is, therefore, denied you in the future so open up the doors within yourselves. [...]

Imagine, if you must, that you have backdoors through which this energy emerges, fresh from the fountains of the universe. Now imagine this universe, imagine this energy connecting; focused, vital and strong. [...] Imagine all the energy that is available to you, here now, connected and send it outward to the woman in question. Now over here we have great energy, and because I am aware of your conversations, strong power that is being withheld out of caution and fear. You have a strong core of energy tested too early and not under the best of circumstances, though at the time you may have believed so. You are much easier now, but at the time, there was an explosion of energy on your part that you did not understand, and you were afraid that in this explosion of energy you would go too far outward and there would be nothing left, so to speak, that you would get away from yourself and lose yourself beyond all hopes of recovery. These coordinate points — absolute, main, or subordinate — represent accumulations or traces of pure energy, minute to an extreme if you are thinking in terms of size — smaller than any particle of which your scientists know for example, but composed of pure energy. And yet this energy must be activated. [...]

[...] The subordinate points also serve in a way as supports, as structural intensifications within the unseen fabric of energy that forms all realities and manifestations. While they are traces or accumulations of pure energy, there is a great difference between the amount of energy available in the various subordinate points, and between the main and the absolute points.

These points are not recognized as such, but they are points of what you could call double reality, containing great energy potential; coordinate points, indeed, where realities merge. There are main coordinate points, pure mathematically, sources of fantastic energy, and subordinate coordinate points, vast in number.

The energy point, from here on, constantly changes the form of the unit, but the procedure I have just mentioned must first occur. [...] Now these intensities of emotional energy, forming the units, end up by transforming all available space into what they are. Certain intensities and certain positions of polarity between and among the units and great groupings of the units compress energy into solid form (resulting in matter). The emotional energy within the units is obviously the motivating factor, and you can see, then, why emotional energy can indeed shatter a physical object. [...]

[...] The energy point would be halfway between these poles, regardless of their position, and it (the energy point) forms the poles. They revolve, therefore, about the energy point. The energy point is indestructible basically.

The shifting of polarity occurs in rhythm with changing emotional intensities, or emotional energies, if you prefer. The “initial” originating emotional energy that sets any given unit into motion, and forms it, then causes the unit to become a highly charged electromagnetic field with those characteristics of changing polarities just mentioned. [...] But the rhythms have to do with the nature of emotional energy itself, and not with the laws of matter.

[...] There is a high energy output on the part of the sitters. [...] He or she consumes energy quickly, but that energy is like a receiving center for the energy of the survival personality operating.

The willing fingers and good intent, yes, but the active focus of your energies was not here. [...] It is a matter of your active, active (underlined)interest, and the enthusiastic focus of energy, whether or not you are directly involved in a given experiment.

[...] There is a flowing of energy, of psychic energy, from the sitters, that does indeed affect and alter that molecular construction of the table. [...]

[...] A deeper involvement however at this time serves to focus your energies in a bunch, so to speak, in the personal subconscious, blocking creative energies that come from deeper layers of the inner self. The half-hour however will allow you, in a smooth manner, to communicate with this important area of the self in a way that will not block other energies, and that will be beneficial.

[...] At your present stage of development with the pendulum you get a reaction that could be compared to a closed circuit, where the energy is directed into the past, into the personal subconscious too abruptly, and too intensified, and is not yet allowed the release of discovering full causes, which would then release not only that energy, but the energy that has in the past gone into the formation of various physical ills.

These incidents in the past, that appear as the original initiation of an illness, they represent points, or kinks, where energy is not smoothly used, but tends to bunch up because of a resistance. Now obviously the particular energy does not bunch up, but a pattern remains in the personality where energy is spent in resistance, and not in efficient action, and not in effective idea constructions.

(Pause.) The energy point, the EE point, from here on, constantly changes the form of the unit, but the procedure I have just mentioned must first occur. The emotional energy within the units is obviously the motivating factor, and you can see then why emotional energy can indeed shatter a physical object. [...]

Pure energy, or any “portion” of it, contains within itself the creative propensity toward individuation, so that within any given portion all individually conscious life is implied, created, sustained. Pure energy cannot be destroyed, and is “at every point” simultaneously being created. [...] Pure energy has no beginning or end. [...] For that matter, despite all appearances, the physical universe was not born through some explosion of energy which is being dispersed, but is everywhere being created at all of its points “at each moment.”

Basically, the psyche is a manifestation of pure energy in a particular form. [...] The psyche is a conglomeration of energy gestalts. To understand that, you must realize that pure energy has such transforming pattern-forming propensities that it always appears as its manifestations. [...]

[...] In the most basic of terms, almost incomprehensible in your vocabulary, energy is not divided. [...] For purposes of discussion, however, we must say that in your terms each smallest portion — each smallest unit of pure energy — contains within it the propelling force toward the formation of all possible variations of itself.

The side which is open allows free flow of energy from the inner self, but momentarily the outlet for this energy is blocked up. This holding back, this gathering and collection without instant outlet, is one of the natural and constant processes involved not only in the construction of energy into matter, but in the construction of energy into any other form, and it is closely allied to the pause and pulsation that I have mentioned, as atoms and molecules appear and disappear imperceptibly, even while they seem to give continuity to any particular object.

[...] These are in some respects a different sort of camouflage, a self-formed, artificial and only partial enclosure, a beneficial psychic device within which the inner self momentarily and temporarily gathers and holds and collects as much psychic energy about it as it is capable of receiving, utilizing, and also withstanding. [...] But it is limiting only for the ultimate purpose of intense concentration of energy, resulting in a burst or expansion of this energy that has been transformed and pressurized, so to speak, into new patterns.

Into the cube then pours psychic energy. [...] As energy pours into our cube it is momentarily held within it. Mental enzymes help transform the energy into incipient patterns, from which matter, physical matter, can result.

The only way to avoid facing the problem you see was to limit the amount of free energy allotted to the individual, and available en masse. Also safeguards were automatically built into the physical structure so that accumulations of energy could not be repressed—so no buildup could then emerge with violent overtones. Those in this system take further steps very slowly, and it will be more difficult for them to learn to handle large amounts of energy constructively. [...]

Those in your system are relatively impatient, have decided to work with large amounts of energy. Your physical system itself rapidly responds and mirrors the use of this energy. [...] Large groupings and regroupings occur within the mass psyche, huge waves of energy as the race makes important decisions. [...]

[...] Nature as you know it is also a result of your decision to handle large amounts of energy without strong imposed restraints. The beauties within it are often the result of violent changes, of strong energy, used to change pattern and form, and yet maintain a definite stability. [...]

The energy of your being exists outside of your system, however, and impinges upon it in your terms, becoming “alive” physically at certain points of time and space. Your own greater energy dips in and out of the space-time continuum as you understand it. [...]

[...] The energy of the personal self constantly comes from the entity. [...] Because of the characteristics of energy as it impinges upon the three-dimensional system, there are fluctuations — always involving your present.

[...] In a manner of speaking you can say that the energy of an entity is dispersed, striking the space-time continuum at certain angles and always bouncing back. But the energy is always in contact with itself even while it impinges into physical existence.

(Somewhat softer.) And then, bringing this energy back with you to your physical frame. Let it come down and fill your physical image with joy and vitality, with energy that will fill out your cells and your tissues, with energy that will heal whatever is wrong with your physical being, with energy that will straighten out your thoughts, open up the self that you know to the knowledge that belongs to you (loud) and has belonged to you before the beginning of your time. Now return to the room, open up your eyes, and feel it filled with the energy that is your own from the source that existed before the self that you now give a name, but the energy that is yours by right and the energy that sustains you. [...]

[...] Use my voice again, simply to give you something to hang on to, and translate the tones into the acceleration of your own consciousness, and translate the energy so you can use it to form your own path. [...] Let the energy, therefore, of my voice serve as steps or pathways, whatever you desire, to lead you wherever your inner self desires to go. [...]

A dispersion has begun in which the ego will find it more and more difficult to hold energy within forms of personal identity, or to use energy for the purposes of the ego. The energy will fly every which way, uncontrolled, and no longer channeled. [...]

Much other energy however, while observing certain inner rules, is not so directed and can be brought under the dominance therefore of purposeful directed gestalts. This of course occurs nevertheless on a subconscious level, representing a spilling over of emotional and psychic energy from self into what is usually considered notself; and there are, constantly, effects that happen, a flowing back and forth of energy in this way.

[...] Needless to say, the use of energy, and of emotional energy in particular, varies in the male and female on your plane; and both methods of using and discharging energy are necessary to maintain not only psychic and emotional balance, but also to maintain physical balance as far as living things are concerned, and also in the counterbalancing effects within weather and nature as it exists in your physical universe.

What you have instead is constant, new creation of material, as energy fills the patterns. The sharpness or rigidity or quality of the perceived material depends on the energy which forms it, and the characteristics of matter therefore depend upon the position of the energy that fills the pattern; but by position, I think in terms of the arrival and departure of this energy as it passes through your field.

There is what you could call a maximum point of energy focus, and after this is reached the departure of the energy begins. If it will help you, think of the energy as a wind, a cosmic wind that fills up from the inside, certain patterns. [...]

All material is energy, appearing in the physical field into patterns that have been prepared for it. The illusion of rigidity is the result of your own outer senses, a perception which is too slow to catch the constant pulsations, as bits of energy that compose material constantly disappear entirely and are replaced.
