[...] The results of another kind of investigation may be given to the intellect, which may then be able to register the facts involved, but only with some difficulty since the intellect is bound and determined to study facts in the light of so-called cause and effect, which appears so logical to the intellect, since it deals so often with appearances registered by the outer senses, then trying to interpret them into some kind of order.

(Coupled with all of this is the statement Seth made recently to the effect that we “have made no major errors.” [...]

Now the last dream looks for the causes behind the situation, and the main key to it is the needle symbol, which on the one hand is a symbol for the penis. [...]

Other dream events, though forgotten, may also cushion the individual to withstand the effects of such “nightmare therapy.” [...]

Nevertheless these relationships have a cause, basically, in past relationships having to do with other lives in the seventeenth, eighteenth, and fourteenth centuries, when this family was unfortunately involved in other relationships which are even now only working themselves out.

Looking back now, the next morning, I think the possibility crossed my mind that some psychic effects were being felt, but, actually, I was so startled that I didn’t think much of anything.

Psychological time is so a part of inner reality that even though the inner self is still connected to the body, you are, in the dream framework, free of some very important physical effects. [...]
