“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

[...] I’ve designed this note to supplement Jane’s writing on fragments in The Seth Material, which Prentice-Hall published in 1970.

1. A note added later in the year: Dialogues was published by Prentice-Hall in September 1975.

The firm decision to do this was made when we were visited by Jane’s editor at Prentice-Hall, Tam Mossman, and a business colleague who accompanied him. [...]

[...] But in October, 1974, long before our move from the two apartments we occupied in downtown Elmira, Jane started her Psychic Politics: An Aspect Psychology Book; that book is the sequel to Adventures in Consciousness, and is to be published this Fall (in 1976) by Prentice-Hall, Inc. [...]

[...] The question has been exaggerated lately by Prentice-Hall’s decision to let Dialogues go out of print —John Nelson’s office wrote Jane last week, offering to sell us as many copies as we wanted at 85 cents a copy. [...]

(Then today she received the contract for Psyche from her publisher, Prentice-Hall. [...]

(On the other hand, with the copyedited manuscript for James and the concluding chapters of Emir mailed to Prentice-Hall earlier this month, Jane found herself with some unexpected free time. [...]

Prentice served your purposes for the same reason, and because of reincarnational contacts with Tam.

[...] The book was delivered to Prentice-Hall a week ago today. [...]

[...] Prentice-Hall will publish it in July, 1974. Jane and I still have to correct page proofs for the book, however; they’re due from the printer next month.

[...] As of now we have so far mailed the letter to Eleanor re Rich Bed; phoned the ad about a house in to the Elmira paper; obtained the paint for Jane’s workroom; put up new curtains in her room; begun inquiries about the duplication of the letter for readers who write to Jane; packaged the first six chapters of Seth’s book to mail to Tam at Prentice-Hall tomorrow; begun to check the galleys for Oversoul Seven—all of these being items on the list we made out a couple of days ago. [...]

[...] And how could we go to Florida and leave all of our friends, and how inconvenient would it be to deal with a publisher (Prentice-Hall) headquartered way up north in New Jersey? [...]

[...] Tam Mossman edited Lee’s autobiography, Strange Experience, which was published in 1971 by Prentice-Hall. [...]

[...] Two particular beliefs here: The party at Bega’s, and your “tirade” —his interpretation, about his dealing with Prentice on one particular occasion. [...]

(By coincidence—?—Seth’s book has just come back to us from Prentice-Hall for us to go over the copy editor’s suggestions before it is set in galleys, which we will see in April. [...]

[...] I mentioned three questions I hoped Seth would cover at least in part: Jane’s projected call to Tam at Prentice-Hall tomorrow morning, re substituting Seth’s new book for Adventures; Jane’s planned letter to Eleanor Friede about Rich Bed; and whether Jane should continue with ESP class.
