[...] Here’s a much-condensed version of what he told us that night after break ended at 9:56:

(To me.) You will experience your own version in your own way, and your own statement of your situation, Joseph. [...]

[...] As an example, she didn’t think “…the kingdom of God is within you” was from the Bible, but I located several versions of this saying by Jesus easily enough later: “For lo, the kingdom…”; “…for in fact…”; “For behold…”

[...] Probable man represents alternate man from your viewpoint, alternate versions of the species. [...]

[...] Jane did review them for me while I was working on this note, however, and here’s a slightly edited version of what she wrote as a result of her study:

From Session 838 for March 5: “I want to avoid tales of the transmigration of the souls of men to animals, say — a badly distorted version of something else entirely. [...]

[...] Zeno-mythlin (The mythlin is my phonetic version of the name Jane pronounced, somewhat haltingly.) That may be two names, perhaps with a hyphen. [...]

[...] This typed version can also be checked by them and any necessary changes made.

[...] Such people as a rule, however, have an exaggerated version of the self (pause), so idealized (long pause) that its very existence intimidates practical action. [...]

“I use the word ‘methods’ because you understand it, but actually we are speaking about an approach to life, a magical or natural approach that is man’s version of the animal’s natural instinctive behavior in the universe. [...]

[...] Part of the subconscious fantasy in the dream was of course valid, representing a watered-down version of the actual communication. [...]

(Today I showed Jane the finished version of my “ghost image” portrait of her as a male in another probability. [...]

While writing out this statement, I’m reminded that I experienced a milder version of the same sensation last month, while I was working at my part-time job in the art department of a local greeting card company. [...]

[...] The material that I have given you on reincarnation in the past is quite valid, particularly for working purposes, but it is a highly simplified version of what actually occurs.

[...] Even your remarks about a black-haired wife meant the image of a woman in her 20’s—the-younger-than-you obviously youthful, spontaneous and cute wife; not a 44-year-old woman with experience behind her, some sense, and who could stand on her own feet, but a much younger version, youthful enough to get into trouble, and to be humorously watched in that regard.

(“Can you spell that?” Seth did so, and it turned out that our versions agreed.
