[...] This chapter will contain some rather fascinating points, for not only do you form the physical reality that you know, you are also forming other quite valid environments in other realities by your present thoughts, desires and emotions. [...]

The next chapter will deal with the eternal validity of dreams as gateways into these other realities, and as open areas through which the inner self glimpses the many facets of its experience, and communicates with other levels of its reality.

This is the title for our book (Smile:)Seth Speaks: (colon) the Eternal Validity of the Soul. I am using the term soul, for it will have instant meaning to most readers. [...]

Thoughts and dreams do indeed possess a validity and reality of which the subconscious has always been aware, and there is in some sense a responsibility here involved.

Probabilities always go off from points of psychological tension here, of course, and so they have a psychological validity for the individual involved in the world that you know. [...]

Such practice also activates within the self all of its unconscious but quite valid experiences, drawing out similar episodes on the part of other simultaneous lives. [...]

This is what makes a painting great, the validity of the inner ground of being within them, interpreted in highly individual ways. The individuality itself, if it is intuitively valid, will lead to a universal inner recognition on the part of all who perceive such a painting.

With the little background given so far, we can at least begin to discuss the subject of this book: The eternal validity of the soul. [...]

These sessions represent what you might call previews of eternity, in that you are to some extent receptors of thought that is not hampered by time, and of a companionship that has not ceased with the stirring of the centuries, and with a valid emotional relationship that has escaped the camouflage aspect of physical reality.

[...] It is for this reason that he now and then does enjoy visitors to sessions, because he instinctively feels that he is thereby learning to manipulate and use these abilities oftentimes, and thereby learn the various subjective feelings that accompany valid perceptions, and to distinguish these from subjective feelings that turn out to be based upon invalid perceptions.
