I believe this change for the better, or this possibility of change, is due to an upspurt on the part of the student, a mood change that can be taken advantage of. There seems to be some connection, to me, at any rate, between the blue chair and this student. [...]

[...] I wondered how well my student would follow my direction, and he did well.

Your visit to class (Tuesday, December 14) meant much to Ruburt, and to the other students. [...]

[...] The man is regarded as a leading authority, unfortunately; we wonder how many students he’s inculcated with the same negative thinking over the years of his teaching career. [...]

[...] I [recently] suggested a project to Ruburt’s class — one that will ultimately illuminate many of the points I am making in “Unknown” Reality. I suggested that Ruburt’s students create a “city”⁹ at another level of reality. [...]

[...] On an unconscious level, the world as you know it expands in just such a fashion.¹⁰ Several students have had dreams involving their participation in such a project. [...]

[...] I’d just read aloud portions of the 721st session when one longtime student, whom I’ll call Florence, commented that there “has to be a balance between each of us and our counterparts.” [...]

[...] And (to a black student) you cannot know what it is like to be black in this culture — you may not agree here — unless you are also white in it…. [...]

One of Ruburt’s students wondered whether or not there was any kind of organization in the immediate after-death experiences. [...]

One day I met Mrs. Brian, a former student who dropped out of class due to illness, who told me she had read a newspaper article about this present book that appeared in the local paper. [...]

Now I present Seth in part from the ESP class session for April 17, 1973, as he answered students’ questions:

[...] Everything else was forgotten as he strove to project himself to those students.

[...] I noted that such a situation could happen again—and it did: On November 4, Iranian students assaulted our embassy compound and took 63 Americans hostage; 3 others were imprisoned at Iran’s Foreign Ministry. [...]

[...] He enjoys having sessions to some degree for his students, for he responds to their desire and need, but he distrusts himself more when you are not present, you see. [...]
