I’ve always transferred my life to letters,
and one day it will reside
exclusively in written nouns and vowels,
clean paragraphs
distilled from mysterious life’s days.
Even before death’s event
I plan my mind’s resting place
as if there is a second life
in thought’s products that defies
the brain’s shorter span, and rises
sans blood, flesh, hand or eye,
self-contained, truly alive at last;
like some mental balloon
set on a safe course finally
through unexplored skies
when the hand that holds it
lets it go.

He will think that two endeavors are involved, and will realize that one united product has been achieved instead. He saw a female child because the product will be intuitive, and psychic, rather than born from logic.

The product will not come from pain, and so he felt none in the dream. [...]

[...] This morning I showed Pete Saul Cohen’s letter of late last week, re Steve’s idea for a Seth Production Co. [...]

[...] I mean that objects are natural by-products of the evolution of your species, even as words are. [...]

[...] You will indeed begin soon a new and more enjoyable and productive area of your lives, and I bid you now a fond good evening (intently, eyes dark. [...]

[...] In that framework cooperation was simply a by-product of a primary drive toward survival. [...]

[...] However, such techniques will not work in mass terms, or allow you, say, to prolong effective, productive life unless you change your beliefs in other areas also, and learn the inner dynamics of the psyche.

(This afternoon Jane and I outlined a “credo” for her that we hoped she could follow back to the productive endeavors she loves so much: writing, poetry, painting, the sessions, the mail, cooking, feeding our cats, Billy and Mitzi, and so forth. [...]

[...] That had been true even during those long delays in its production. [...]

My own role in the physical production of Dreams is far from over, however. [...]

[...] I also referred to the very slow-moving production of a motion picture based upon Jane’s first Seven novel: The Education of Oversoul Seven.

Let me quickly recap a few more facts about the production of this work. [...]

[...] I also want to present a few passages from both regular and private (or “deleted”) sessions that were held before, during, or after Seth-Jane’s actual production of “Unknown” Reality in its entirety. [...]

Such a masterly
production
makes me think instead that
there are
clues
we’ve overlooked.

[...] As a rule they possess an enchanting spontaneity, however, and all of their creative abilities go into the family group and the production of children. [...]

[...] They deal primarily in the great play of exchange and interchange of ideas, products, social and political concepts. [...]

They can be “con men,” selling products supposed to have miraculous values, blinding the local populace with their city airs. [...]

[...] They are by-products of the learning process, created by you, in themselves quite neutral. [...]

[...] You will not, again, regret the hours spent in sleep, for you will see how productive they can be, and you will realize how they are woven into the tapestry that makes up your entire experience.

Now: In a way, it is quite difficult to tell you what I have been doing with my time (humorously emphatic) while I have been involved in the production of “Unknown” Reality — and therefore, to some extent at least, inclined toward your time.²

We could have presented Dreams as is, or at least have avoided mentioning certain less-than-advantageous circumstances surrounding its production by Jane and by Seth, the “energy personality essence” she speaks for while in a trance or dissociated state. [...]

[...] They are a product of your own psychic and mental and psychological activity and so they exist whether or not you perceive them. [...]

[...] Man’s imagination seemed then to be allied with falsehood, unless its products could be turned to advantage in the materialistic existence. [...]
