Jane finished Dialogues last year (in March 1973), and now (in June 1974) is halfway through the final draft of Adventures. I’m to finish illustrations for each of them by the end of this year, if possible, since Prentice-Hall will publish both books in 1975. [...]

In turn, the young lady’s letter reminded me of certain passages Seth had delivered in the 34th session for March 11, 1964. [...]

[...] 2. I call the whole series of accidents “events of consciousness,” and think of them as unfolding in an orderly way from that initial large-scale event of consciousness, which took place on March 28, 1979. [...]

[...] These events must interact with each other on many levels: The revolution in Iran came to a head with a change of leadership in February 1979, after a ruler long favorable to the United States had been deposed; the accident at TMI took place in March 1979; the American hostages were taken in Iran in November 1979; Russia invaded Afghanistan at Christmastime 1979; and less than 10 months later Iraq invaded Iran. [...]

(This is the first session we’ve had since March 6. I think Jane held it only because I haven’t been feeling well for several weeks. [...]

(It’s hard for us to believe that five and a half weeks have passed following Jane’s last regularly scheduled session, the 906th for March 6. She’s held but one private session, on April 9, since.

(Because the proper detection equipment was not in place, government officials do not know just how much radiation was released into the Pennsylvania countryside 28 months ago [in March 1979], when the reactor of Unit No. [...]

In March 1975 Jane and I purchased the hill house just outside Elmira, and within a few weeks David acquired his own place not far from us in the valley below. [...]

[...] In Note 2 for Session 840, in Mass Events, I’m quoting Seth from the 838th session for March 5, 1979: “I want to avoid tales of the transmigration of the souls of men to animals, say—a badly distorted version of something else entirely.”

(After lunch today Jane and I were visited by our old friend David Yoder, who’s been in Florida recuperating from the heart bypass surgery he underwent early this year.¹ David brought news that was at first startling, then quickly developed into several conflicting emotions and ideas for us: He’d just learned from a relative of hers that a few weeks ago Mrs. Steffans [not her real name], the wife of the couple we’d purchased the hill house from in March 1975, had committed suicide at her home in a Western state while her husband was away on a business trip.

14. This final note is added well over a year after Jane finished delivering “Unknown” Reality. As I wrote at the start of the 740th session, Jane suspended ESP class on February 26, 1975, to give us time to not only prepare for our move to the hill house (in March), but to settle down afterward.
