I here mention once more that you keep some watch upon Miss Callahan, and would indeed suggest that Ruburt, for a period of three or four days, brings up the mail to Miss Callahan. This will prevent Miss Callahan from attempting the stairs, at least for this purpose, and it is during the afternoon periods that concern is felt here.

(It is Friday night as I type this, two days after the session. To date Miss Callahan appears to be all right. Jane saw her at 3 PM, mail time. Jane has been picking up Miss Callahan’s mail as suggested, and also sometimes manages to look in on her at another time of day.

(Miss Callahan is not completely alone. She now has a woman who cooks her noon meal for her, and usually stays with her until about 1 PM.)
