[...] Seth’s next material came through because of some angry comments I made during break. [...]

(Now Seth came through with some other material for Jane and me, and finally ended the session at 11:22 P.M.)

(Seth’s statement at the end of dictation for the 815th session, “I will try to begin work on our book in a more predictable fashion,” reflected his good intent, but things didn’t turn out that way. [...]

(“Thank you, Seth. [...]

[...] Scott Nearing was quite interested in how well the Seth books were doing, whether any of the “leading magazines” had interviewed Jane, and so forth. [...]

[...] And Tam was interviewed today by Jim Poett who is still tracking down witnesses relative to the article he’s doing on Seth and us for the Village Voice. [...]

[...] So either Seth is in error here, or his words carry a symbolic meaning. [...]

[...] From here on Seth returned to the regular session, saying good night at 9:54 PM.)

(“Afternoon, Seth.”)

[...] I told Jane, also, that yesterday she had referred to a looser feeling inside her left elbow, a greater softness, so Seth was right: these particular improvements had been in the works, yet triggered by Jane’s suggestions. [...]

(“Good afternoon, Seth.”)

(“Good afternoon, Seth.”

[...] The session began as usual; Seth said that the other personality was also involved. [...]

[...] Oh; and earlier, Seth came back through and helped me “down”; but this last time he didn’t and I couldn’t seem to “find him.”

[...] I had asked for a break only in case Jane had any questions she wanted Seth to answer.

[...] She had, she said, been quite aware of Seth’s presence, but when asked could not describe it.)

[...] After break, Seth discussed my painting and gave some material for others who aren’t involved with this book. [...]

[...] We’ve learned to our sorrow and rage that both entities have cut their versions of Seth Speaks, without our permission or knowledge, and have struggled to exert what force we could in order to rectify the situation. [...]

[...] I’ve already written Ariston that we will sell them no more work after their dishonesty with Seth Speaks, and plan to do the same thing soon with Ankh-Hermes. [...]

(Yesterday we learned that P. Grenquist and others from Prentice-Hall met representatives, including the owners, of Ariston at the book fair in Frankfurt—another bit of information Jane and I wouldn’t have been told without asking; my present suspicion is that eventually Jane and I will learn that those in charge at Prentice-Hall knew all along that both Ariston and Ankh-Hermes had made changes in Seth Speaks, with their casual okay. [...]

[...] Eyes felt softer, etc., Then we went to take Billy to the vet’s; on the way my eyes did funny things; odd sensations involving balance I think—both of these in the car; I asked for help from “divine parent of my being,” and repeated the suggestions Seth gave me; trying not to be worried. [...]

[...] Before the session I spoke aloud to Seth, asking him for straight answers to my questions about Jane’s symptoms lately. [...]

(Practically as soon as I finished speaking to Seth, Jane’s eyes closed. [...]

[...] Jane said that before the session she told Seth to blot her out, so that we would get undistorted material. [...]

(At break I asked that Seth say what he think of our recent idea that Jane show some book ideas to Don Wollheim, at Ace, as a means of mobility in her writing.)

(She said she thought Seth was trying an experiment, that it was better to do it this way. She could feel Seth about, but he was letting her go ahead on her own.)

[...] I arose with several questions that I wanted answered in a session tonight; the trouble with steps, why she took a turn for the worse after the tour for The Seth Material, etc.?

[...] Seth thought you would find this direct statement even more informative than his indirect description of it.

I am glad to see the progress that is being made on the book dealing with the Seth material.

(It might be worth noting here that many sessions ago Seth stated he was substituting the word “area” for “level,” when a reference to the subconscious was made. [...]

[...] Jane had thought Seth would continue the interruption as our first break, but shortly she announced he wanted to continue. [...]

[...] Since her illness then, Seth has dealt with her to varying degrees on February 17, as well as in the 29th, 31st, 33rd, 44th, 46th, 54th, and 56th sessions, among others. [...]

[...] Yesterday Jane had remarked to me that she did not think Seth would agree, and might have something to say on this, although she did not know when.)

(Below, Seth discusses a projection experience of Jane’s on Friday, May 9, that involved her perception of my astral presence in the apartment although I was at work at Artistic Card Company that day.)

(Jane’s Seth voice was good this evening, almost free of tremor, and often more emphatic than it has been. It was obvious that this was because as Seth she was dealing with more charged material.)
