[...] What about all of these other probable events, however? [...]

[...] By the same token, if our individual chose to perceive and experience, say, event Y, then event Y would be the reality, and event X would still be unreal.

The package of experience that you can focus upon and make sense of, is indeed composed of many small packages, but the whole package of reality is actually much larger than this. [...]

[...] But this other portion of the self can, and does, delve into what you could call event X1, X2, X3, et cetera. [...]

[...] If you would have some idea of what the probable universe system is like, then examine your own dreams, looking for those events which do not have any strong (underline) resemblance to physical events in your own conscious existence. [...]

You may not be able to make sense from what appears to be a chaotic jumble of disconnected images and actions. [...]

[...] In reality the possible system does not achieve its order through subjective association, but the term, subjective association, is the nearest that I can come in approximating the basic causes for this order.

[...] However the events and actions of the probable system are indeed objective and concrete within their own field of reality. [...]

[...] Angry at having the experience cut short, I dozed off again, once more giving the suggestion that I would learn what was going on at Prentice-Hall.

[...] She was lying in bed, and I couldn’t tell if I was in her bedroom or seeing through the wall or what. I started thinking about what Jane said about people being out-of-body without knowing it and wondered if Mom was out right then. [...]

[...] I felt fully awake, aware of what I was doing and quite free and weightless. [...]

Before he went back to sleep, Rob told me what had happened. [...]

I have told you that portions of your personality exist in other realities. [...] The environment, the methods of perception, the reality system within each room is unique.

[...] While each of you are egotistically focused within your own reality, the deeper layers of the self are aware of the quote “family” relationship. [...]

[...] You should be able to go with him, and from his vantage point observe your own reality and situation, to see you and Ruburt and your lives for yourself from this different vantage point. [...]

This other portion of yourself will also view his reality from your vantage point, and your ideas will stimulate his own, and both of you will gain from the encounter. [...]

Master events emerge from that reality of idea, now, from which all ideas originate, uniting these through the use of natural correspondences. [...]

Now: such physicians, in their field, are like the mental physicists and dream artists (described in The “Unknown” Reality). [...]

[...] He is being healed, but with conscious cooperation, and relying upon the fact that you form your reality—not, for example, by simply accepting another framework of belief—but his dealing with the nature of beliefs themselves, and this is an achievement. [...]

[...] To some extent it involved the intuitional reorganization of subjective, and then objective, realities.

[...] It seems certain that “something” happened “back then” (as I often remark) — and that if you could go back there, invisibly studying the century, you would discover the birth of Christianity (also as I’ve remarked, although I prefer to say that “I’d like to see what did happen”). [...]

(Pause.) You must understand the long trail of psychological reality that exists before you have a physical event. [...]

(9:25.) These all had to flow into reality, into psychological patterns through man’s own understanding. [...]

[...] You may, perhaps, glimpse what I mean in one way intuitively by considering what is meant when I say that your physical constructions form, or become the shape of, your environment in terms of what I have said about psychological form, period.

You will see that in the first mentioned examples the effect would be created by man in line with his abilities, and in the latter examples the effects would be created in some instances by what is sometimes called dead matter, but what we know as other forms of consciousness, according to their ability.

[...] There are also however forms or structures that are what you may call psychological forms or structures, even within your own field, which you do not perceive with your outer senses, but which are nevertheless frameworks that underlie form as it appears in matter.

These psychological forms or structures have a reality and validity, composed of gestalts that exist in perspectives that you do not recognize.

[...] And when you understand what it is trying to say, and if you make an effort to do what is needed, the symptoms are no longer needed as a method of communication. [...]

[...] Some has to do with your assessment of your position within the firm, with your assessment of what you would get outside the firm should you leave it.

Now what happens is this. [...]

Your work, in any case, is the interpretation of reality through your own experience, providing a new and creative view of man and the universe. [...] It has always been your individual and joint search —a private determination to glimpse what you could of the nature of man, that was not glimpsed before.

You must do what you want because you want to do it, and if the authorities listen, well and good, and if not it is their loss. [...]

Perhaps the greatest variances in human behavior show in mental states, and so parents are apt to feel most crushed and despondent if any of their children prove to be what is generally regarded as mentally deficient. In the first place, the term is a judgment cast by others, and a particular personality may feel quite comfortable in his or her own perception of reality, and only become aware of the difference when confronted by others. Many simply perceive reality from a different focus, feeling a problem out rather than thinking a problem out.

[...] Jane took a break when we heard someone pushing what we thought was the medicine cart out in the hall toward our room. [...]

[...] I am emphasizing this dream connection, however, because the dream state is one familiar to each reader, and it represents your closest touchstone to the kind of subjective reality from which your physical world emerges. The dream state appears chaotic, shadowy, suspicious, or even meaningless, precisely because in life you are so brilliantly focused in daily reality that dreams appear to be staticky objective background noise, left over from when you sleep. [...]

[...] Your physical reality is but one materialization of that inner organization. [...]

[...] There were dream trees, with dream foliage, that gradually became aware within that dream (with gentle emphasis), turning physical, focusing more and more in physical reality, until their dream seeds finally brought forth physical trees.

[...] Your physical experience is a combination of dream events interlaced with what you call objective acts.

[...] The painting spirals outward from your inner reality, and it brings forth energy and previous connections and interpretations. [...]

In either case when conditions are right, you should feel a sense of recognition, a sense of grasping a portion of the center of your own reality. [...]

[...] It is that the lines, seeming so realistic, also symbolically suggest what the viewer himself cannot see in his own face, but knows is there. [...]

He is learning to use his abilities now in various ways,, though you have only begun to learn what they are. [...]

[...] In the same manner do thoughts and emotions have the electric reality of which I have spoken. Therefore, within the electric system, dreams, thoughts and emotions exist as actualities, and in what you may call a tangible form, though not in the form of matter as you are familiar with it.

They are closed enough to retain identity and separateness of characteristic natures, but because they are all formed from inner vitality, they are actually interrelated; and when I describe fields or systems I describe many portions of one reality, many faces of one reality.

[...] In other words, though the ego was adopted originally by the inner self, and was a product of physical heredity and environment, it does not die; but its existence is changed from physical reality into electrical reality. [...]

In a most ingenious manner, then, all of these systems, while individual, are portions of one unified reality.

[...] Now, so strong is this tendency for vitality to change from one apparent form to another, that what you have here in your flying object is something that is actually, as you view it, not of your plane or of [whatever] plane of its origin … The atoms and molecules that structurally compose the UFO, and which are themselves formed by vitality, are more or less aligned according to the pattern of its own territory. [...] The earthly viewer attempts to correlate what he sees with what he supposedly knows or imagines possible in the universe.

What he sees is something between a horse and a dog, that resembles neither. The flying saucer retains what it can of its original structure and changes what it must. [...]

[...] [In the early sessions, incidentally, Seth used the word “plane” often, but not long afterward began the general changeover to “reality,” which for the most part we like better. [...]

What they do is take quick glimpses of your plane — and hold in mind that the saucer or cigar shape [often] seen on your planet is a bastard form having little relation to the structure as it is at home base.

(When Jane did begin to speak at 9:11, she used the same high, somewhat distant and quite precise voice as before, the one belonging to what we call, somewhat inaccurately, Seth’s entity. [...]

Without the sort of directed knowledge that you are receiving, you have what appears as inspiration, a hit-or-miss affair, highly distorted as a rule. [...]

He is forced in one way to reach further into inner reality, for I do not come as immediately to you as Seth as you knew him did. [...]

[...] You asked what it was like to be a personality never formed into physical matter, and I helped him attain some awareness, subjectively, of that condition. [...]
