The outer senses as you know are themselves camouflage constructions, specific tools formed for a specific reason to manipulate camouflage reality. They are not equipped to handle other realities, nor should they be expected to do so.

[...] I realize that it is frowned upon to speak in terms of a limited intellect, which cannot understand a whole reality because of a built-in deficiency; nevertheless while it is true that the intellect by itself cannot grasp or comprehend inner reality, this should not be thought of as a deficiency inherent in intellect.

Among them were the resolution of some old family relationships — and nowhere in this note am I talking about past lives or probable lives, but just the working out of hard questions rooted in this present physical reality. All Ruburt could remember of his dream was the knowledge that many of mankind’s most cherished conceptions about reality are completely false. He was shown a multidimensional diagram of reality as it exists in terms of the spacious present, and in terms of qualities that represent dimensional points.

No thought has been given to the personality structure as it exists in a fourth-dimensional reality, or in a fifth-dimensional reality, and yet a fourth or fifth-dimensional personality structure contains the most important hints of all.

The various levels of the self possess this sort of reality. [...] They are sensitive to other realities which fall within their particular range, and they repel actions which do not.

(When Seth is speaking rapidly I find that I write rapidly in order to keep up, often without much awareness of what I am putting down as far as meaning goes. Because of this I occasionally miss out on asking what may seem like obvious questions. [...]

The reasons do indeed have to do with electromagnetic realities which we have mentioned earlier. [...]

[...] All action does have an electromagnetic reality, which is usually not perceived by the physical senses.

The body’s weight was kept down for the same reasons, because he felt according to those old beliefs, that the body’s sustenance and substance in physical reality was not important in regard to his work. [...] It is not a matter of what he ate, but chemically what he did with the nourishment.

[...] Each of the atoms and molecules that compose your body has its own reality in sound values that you do not hear physically. [...]

[...] If you do not like what you see then quite consciously change the picture in your mind.

No physical matter is without this electromagnetic reality, and no thought exists which does not exist within this reality. [...] Emotions, having their own reality within this system, do not affect physical matter indirectly, but cause specific electromagnetic changes within the physical organism.

[...] They exist as fact, though in a different dimension from physical reality. Again, no one would deny the reality of psychological experience when it is felt by the waking personality. Yet such experience also does not have a physical reality, to the same degree that a definite physical object has.

[...] It seems as if someone stood and spoke outside of what is depicted here. I pick up a connection with a pair of shoes, though I do not know to what this refers, and a fence or border; an enclosure of that kind. [...]

It is rather important that the reality of these electromagnetic systems be understood, as they are so important in the construction of physical images and dream images, and since they are responsible for the inner communication which takes place beneath consciousness.

The inner references of reality involve a different kind of experience entirely, with organizational patterns that mix and merge at every conceivable point. You tune your consciousness while you sleep as one might tune a piano, so that in waking reality, it clearly perceives the proper notes and values that build up into physical experience. [...]

[...] The lines drawn between the self and what is nonself, between an organism and its environment, are highly arbitrary on your part. [...] These combine what you diversify, so that you have hidden psychological values or psychological beings that combine the properties of the environment and the properties of selfhood in other combinations than those you know.

At one time, then, you were more open in a fashion to the kinds of consciousness that you admitted into your circle of reality. [...] Such species, of course, can nowhere appear within the dictates of evolution or be perceived as realities except under those conditions when you relax your usual conventions of perception and behavior.

[...] I think that through Seth tonight she beautifully discusses several of her key insights into the nature of reality—and I don’t think it has ever been done any better.)

What I want to emphasize here is the paranoid’s misinterpretation of innocuous personal or mass events, and to stress the ways in which physical events can be put together symbolically, so that from them a reality can be created that is almost part physical and part dream.

[...] Often, however, they have less of a solid foundation than others in dealing with a mass-shared reality, and so they attempt to impose their own private symbols upon the world, or to form a completely private world. [...] Each person forms his or her own reality, and yet that personal reality must also be shared with others, and must be affected by the reality of others….

[...] Their reality is the result of the most precise balancing of forces so that certain mental events appear quite real, and others are peripheral. [...] If in the middle of the night, and fully awake, you believe it is sunrise in physical terms, and cannot differentiate between your personal reality and the physical one, then that balance is disturbed.

[...] These individuals often use the physical world in the way that most people use the dream world, so that for them it is difficult to distinguish between a private and a publicly-shared reality.

[...] I had thought of specifically having the first part deal with inner and outer immediate environments, and then to lead to the larger reality of the soul and its perception in the second part. This is what I did, but the material is so interwoven that I felt the given separation enough, and did not want to reinforce the idea of a division.

[...] The past life is (smile) like a crossword puzzle that must be put together, but at its center is the emotional reality from which the puzzle springs.

[...] They have little meaning in your own reality. [...]

[...] “You” are simply focused within this picture of reality.

He has constructed matter as an outward manifestation of inner reality. He can to some extent destroy matter, but he cannot destroy the inner reality.

It is impossible for you to perceive what these quasars represent. [...]
