(Jane began dictation at 9:01 in a quiet voice, at a comfortable rate as far as my writing speed was concerned; her pacing was also moderate, and her eyes darkened as usual.)

[...] I can tell you that it is, but it is best that I do not push you in any direction, and that you act naturally in your own speed.

[...] It gradually picked up speed while Jane wrote down each letter it paused over. [...]

[...] That session, as well as the 581st, also contains some applicable data on Seth’s electromagnetic energy (EE) units, their various speeds, and our interpretations of them as events, dream events, movement-through-time, and so forth.

(I didn’t say so because the time was speeding past and I felt dead tired myself, but the session seemed to offer some glimmers of hope. [...]

(4:25 p.m. Jane’s speed of delivery had steadily increased as she progressed with the session. [...]

[...] The speed, the normal agility, is there to be unlocked. [...]

I have also said that all constructions are composed of atoms and molecules, but their action may be at such different speeds that you are not aware of them on the physical plane. [...]

[...] I do not miss any of the material, yet am forced to go at top speed in order to get it all. [...]

[...] The weaker integer doubles its (value) with the speed of light. [...]

[...] The value of the integers would seem to dissolve (pause) at the speed of light, but it is precisely here that the minus numbers take over and become, or take on, the value of the positive numbers.

(Just before the session tonight we discussed the article under Science in Time for April 10, 1964; it dealt with the discovery of the most distant galaxy to date, one traveling away from us at a speed of 76,000 miles per second.

[...] If these efforts on my part to make things easier are not appreciated, then I can speed up as fast as you would like.

[...] It is speeded up in many respects, and the problem is almost like returning to a moving ship in space, only the motion involved is consciousness. [...]

(At 3:40 Jane began reading yesterday’s session, and did very well indeed — her best yet with speed, and with both eyes open, whereas she usually has to close one or the other. [...]

[...] She added that her experience in “getting it” was related not only to her ability to sense that sometimes more than one stream of material was available from Seth, but to the way that she herself had tuned into the information on neurological speeds late last month. [...]

This is somewhat similar to your own emotional feelings when time seems speeded up or slowed down, but it is vastly different in important ways. [...]

(There are four recognized [electrical] brain waves, and in speed they range upward from 0 to 26 and more Hertz units, or cycles per second. [...]

[...] Without running actual physical tests for comparison, we seem to accumulate quite a bit more than would usually be possible without going at top speed. Yet during a session Jane while talking steadily, nevertheless pauses often, and I am no longer pressed to write at top speed to keep up with her.
