One of the reasons that the intellect refused to see, that its own search was bound to end up in this fashion, was Ruburt’s inability to see beyond organized religion’s hypocrisy. [...]

[...] When energy is withdrawn for this reason, the individual who is used to relying upon it will feel bewildered and resentful, and abandoned without knowing the reason.

(This car incident discussed by Seth refers to one I had forgotten already, though at the time it affected me strongly; and as I look back upon it, I recall it was the main reason for my own experiment with the car’s oil consumption.

Included in further discussions will be some of the reasons why the presence of other individuals may help in the psychic manipulation of matter, though I will not go into this this evening.

[...] The purpose was to set up a situation in which both strong facets of the personality could emerge; the intellectual, reasoning, rather practical and controlling aspects, hand in hand with the highly volatile creative spontaneous portions.

If you are awakened for any reason during the night, the chances for a conscious projection on your return to sleep are somewhat higher than they would have been had your sleep not been interrupted.

[...] Now in this same way do you give freedom to the personality fragments within your own dreams, and for the same reason. And you create for the same reason, and within all of you is the memory of that primal agony—that urge to create and free all probable consciousnesses into actuality.

Now had he not solved it, All That Is in ways that cannot be understood, would have faced insanity, and there would have been literally a reality without reason, and a universe run wild.

It is possible (pause, long) that the changes of which Philip has been told will not occur and were furthermore not intended to occur: that he has been told so for other reasons.
