That is, the personality may react to a stimuli in the present that occurred originally twenty years ago, to the ego’s understanding of time.

[...] The idea and reality of physical time parallels the development of the ego. Consciousness of self, alone, is unaware of your physical time. The physical time idea is a product of the ego’s tendency to make finer distinctions in order that it can classify and categorize, and therefore identify and give permanence to its own sensations.

It is a psychological structure, as I have explained, and you and Ruburt are both a part of it. [...]

[...] Even now, local civil defense officials monitor the air several times daily with radiological survey meters — equipment similar to Geiger counters. [...]

This also has to do with large events, that you might for convenience’s sake think of for now as psychological objects — that is, events seen and recognized by large numbers of people in the same way that objects are.

The Christ drama is a case in point, where private and mass dreams were then projected outward into the historical context of time, and then reacted to in such a way that various people became exterior participants — but in a far larger mass dream that was then interpreted in the most literal of physical terms. [...]

[...] This happened at a time of day when I’m not usually at my best — around 4 in the afternoon. [...]

[...] You end up with separate disciplines: biology, psychology, physics, mathematics, and so forth, each with its own group of facts, jealously guarded, each providing its own world view: the world as seen through biology, or reality as seen through the eyes of physics.

[...] He must fight against his own body, overemphasize its susceptibility to built-in defects, diseases, and against a built-in time bomb, so to speak, when without warning extinction will arrive. [...]

Tam³ made the decision several times, but early in the game he decided that the book (Sue’s “Conversations With Seth”) should feature illustrations. [...]

(We had discussed this at supper time. Jane had noticed a close similarity in some of the effects described by Oliver Fox, and those she had experienced on her own while doing psychological time, as long as two years ago.)

[...] If your levitation experience seems to carry you outside of your solar system, then you know that you are using the third form, and that your abilities for the time are almost limitless, comparatively speaking. [...]

[...] We had used the intervening time as a break, and Jane resumed in the same active manner at 10:05.)

Some of the effects however, of which he speaks, are the result of his own psychological makeup. [...]

For now, I recommend a definite certain amount of time on a regular basis. [...] Later you will not need the time, per se. [...]

[...] Anything could be taken from him at any time. [...]

[...] (Pause.) Give us time… He did not feel that any love was his by right, yours or anyone else’s: therefore he did not feel worthy of it, and in the face of any difficulty between you he suspected it, thought then that you no longer loved him.

The backed-up feelings helped bring about the rigidity over a period of time. [...]

To Seth’s remarks in that early session I’d now like to add what he said a decade later in our time. [...] We do not exist in any time framework as you know it. [...] We are quite aware of the time situations within other systems, however, and we must take them into account in our communications. [...]

In your terms I see not only greater chunks of time than you do, but I can to some considerable extent view the probable actualizations of events and times.

Now: In a way, it is quite difficult to tell you what I have been doing with my time (humorously emphatic) while I have been involved in the production of “Unknown” Reality — and therefore, to some extent at least, inclined toward your time.²
