[...] What sort of psychic interactions had taken place between them in any strong or exceptional way? Were their dreams and other psychic experiences — other than the recorded instances — outstanding on a regular basis as they lived out their lives day by day?

Some carried on following the same pattern taken by Christ, performed psychic feats and healings, had groups of followers, and yet were not capable of holding that powerful focus of psychic attention that was so necessary.

Now besides this physical genetic structure, there is an inner bank of psychic information that in your terms would contain the “past” history—the reincarnational history—of the individual. This provides an overall reservoir of psychic characteristics, leanings, abilities, knowledge, that is as much a part of the individual’s heritage as the genetic structure is a part of the physical heritage.

[...] You are surrounded everywhere by other kinds of consciousness whose validity you have largely ignored, whose psychic brotherhood you have dismissed—kinds of consciousness in the animal kingdom particularly, that deal with a different kind of knowing, but who share with you the reality of keen emotional experience, and who are innately aware of biological and psychic values, but in ways that have escaped your prejudiced examination.

Reasoning, as you are familiar with it, is the result of mental or psychic processes functioning in a space-time context, and in a particular fashion. [...]

(A close friend, one who used to attend Jane’s ESP class, had called our unlisted number to ask one of us some psychic questions. [...]

[...] So there are inner psychic “races” to which you belong, or psychic stocks, so to speak, each providing physical variations.⁹

I might add that if the York Beach adventure was a strong sign for us of psychic development to come (even if we weren’t able to interpret much of it at first), then Jane’s reception a month later of her manuscript, Idea Construction, was another; and that experience contained obvious psychic elements. (Those circumstances might have acted as a leavening factor in the early years, perhaps to a mild degree helping determine the direction of some of Jane’s psychic explorations, with and without Seth. [...] Besides, how would she ask advice from another about such an individual, intuitive quality as, say, the next step to take in her psychic growth? [...]

[...] A psychic marketplace, for example, where ideas are exchanged, a place of psychic commerce, a pleasant environment with quite definite coordinates, established as an “orbiting satellite” on the outskirts of your world.

He wanted to write, to use his creative and psychic abilities to the fullest, and so he cut down all distractions. His literal mind led him to … a rich diet of creativity and psychic experience, and to a situation in which Joseph and he could finally be financially free [to some extent], and not in that way threatened.
