DEaVF2 Chapter 9: Session 931, July 15, 1981 sinful overlays journal church bonding

Recently, for example, I reread this passage of Seth’s from Session 915, for Chapter 8 of Dreams, Jane gave the session in May 1980, a year before the publication of Mass Events:

[...] Almost at once I recalled a passage Seth had given in the session of the night before (on April 14), when he’d discussed my attitude toward religion in general and my own sinful self in particular:

[...] I felt a distinct start of surprise when I came across this passage of Seth’s, for I’d completely forgotten it: “Jane, for example, entered the fetus when it was about three months old, and accepted this as a new life. [...]

[...] I’d say that we still have but a partial answer [the same situation that applies to a lot of our other questions, too], although Seth came through with what I think of as a key passage in the 23rd session for February 5, 1964.)

[...] By the time he did so he’d been through with “Unknown” Reality for quite a while, but I was still working on the notes and appendixes for Volume 2. As I wrote Appendix 12 in particular I discussed with Jane the passages on naïve realism; soon afterward Seth began to refer to the subject during scheduled sessions, and one of them contained the excellent information below. [...]

I should add that the passages on science and scientists in Appendix 12 aren’t intended to add up to any general indictment of what are very powerful cultural forces, but to give insights into “where we’re at” at this time in linear history. [...]
