(I was typing the first portion of last night’s session when I heard President Reagan giving his anxiously awaited first address to Congress; he spoke on economic issues mainly. [...]

(Actually, I learned as we talked, Jane had called me for a session Monday evening, but I hadn’t heard her. [...]

[...] On Thursday, October 27, the day after this session, Jane heard from the magazine in question, Topper. [...]

[...] The spiritual guide was the doctor Ruburt heard in his sleep and immediately questioned, and he is quite valid. [...]

[...] But Jane said the silence bothered her—the kind of remark I’ve always heard her make. [...]

[...] Also because I have said what I wanted to say, and I hope you heard our friends’ interpretation for it was a good one (Joel) and this was a good one also (Wally). [...]

[...] Then Phil asked Seth if he knew anything about a voice that he’d heard in a local bar.

During our first break, Phil explained: A month earlier he’d been speaking to a young woman in a local bar, when he heard a clear, loud, male voice say, “No, no,” very emphatically. [...]
