Rob’s notes provide the necessary exterior orientation for this present volume, as they do for the previous Seth books, and hint at the framework of normal life in which Seth so gallantly “appears” twice weekly, tossing off my glasses and thereby signaling the beginning of my trance. [...]

The G and the L did refer to the glass and the lawn.

[...] I’d cleaned her glasses and changed the Duoderm on the bridge of her nose, which helped. [...]

[...] Jane had a cigarette after I’d put drops in her eyes and fixed her glasses. [...]

(10:20.) Highly simplified indeed, the effect would be something like changing one set of glasses for another, for the physical senses are as artificial, basically speaking, to the inner self, as a set of glasses or a hearing aid is to the physical self. [...]
