(Peggy’s entity name is Aniac, given by Seth in the 158th session. Seth has given little information on Peg’s entity, but his use of “he” evidently means that Peg’s entity, like Jane’s, is male-oriented.

[...] It will be remembered that Jane’s entity name is Ruburt, and that Seth refers to Ruburt as “he”; our interpretation of this being that Jane’s entity is male-oriented in the overall sense. [...]

[...] This ability to perceive and react to unlimited simultaneous events is a basic characteristic of each whole self or entity. [...]

[...] The entity is the overall identity of which his personality is one manifestation — an independent and eternally valid portion. [...]

The ego, the inner ego, the subconscious, the whole self, and even the entity, these are all states of tension.

We have not touched in any degree concerning further possibilities here, but as there is no real or actual boundary between any of these areas of the whole self, so there are no actual, definite boundaries between any given whole self and another, nor between any given entity and another.

(Once again Jane began speaking for Seth’s entity, as we have come to call the personality beyond Seth; her voice had the same higher and distant, clearly enunciating quality as before. [...]

The apparent boundaries of your own physical system therefore are composed of psychic intensities and projections that are set out by the entities who have decided to experience physical reality. [...]

[...] With the new source, Seth’s entity, Jane said she feels it is way up above her, talking; but once she gets the first word there’s no problem.

[...] Portions of the entity in quotes “arrive” before other portions, and send us communications that we can hardly understand. Because the entity has not expressed but withheld the basic femininity of its nature, it has fed back upon itself so that the overall identity of the entity appears as feminine simply because there is a backlog of those characteristics thought of as feminine.

An entity is composed of what you may call feminine and masculine characteristics, but when all energy is focused into masculine-oriented personalities then a backlog develops, so that the entity is left with only unused, unmanifested, so-far-denied feminine characteristics.

I evolved to form my own entity. [...]

[...] During the first three sessions the material came from a Frank Withers — who, it developed in the 4th session, was one of the “personality fragments” making up the Seth entity, or whole self. Just before Seth announced his presence to us in that same session, Frank Withers spelled out a remark through the board that meant little to Jane and me at the time: “One whole entity may need several manifestations, even at simultaneous so-called times.”

[...] Although it might be difficult for us to understand, let alone accept, the whole self or entity must regard all of its counterparts as sublime facets of itself — no matter whether they loved, suffered,⁵ hated, or killed each other or “outsiders.” [...]
