(In my original and unpublished notes in Session 520 in Seth Speaks I listed three chances for the fruition of Seth’s prediction: The mention in Cosmopolitan of Jane’s ESP book for April 1970; Tam’s news about New American Library being very interested in the Seth material book; or Jane’s contract for the dream book being in the mail from Prentice-Hall.)

As far as Jane’s levitation dreams, I myself was her delighted but inept teacher. In the dream state she did beautifully. [...]

[...] Dreams, yours and Ruburt’s, your flying saucers, some of your visions, planes, planets and radio stars. [...]

[...] But you have been making great strides, and believe it or not the increased freedom of your subconscious mind will give you added energy and personal practical solutions far more beneficial than you would have dreamed possible in the past. [...]

(This afternoon while painting the thought came to me that Jane’s trouble was that she was avoiding success; and success was looming ever closer with the advertising campaign planned for her ESP book, the near-completion of the dream book, etc. [...]

[...] This often takes place during the dream state — and when it seems to you that you have briefly entered an astonishing new dimension, the dream state itself involves such an acceleration.

[...] You think of thoughts, images, and dreams sometimes as being symbolic of other things, but the truth is that physical objects are themselves symbols. [...]

[...] Information concerning these is often given to you in the sleep state, and there is a kind of gestalt type of dream, a root dream, by which those who have known each other in past lives now communicate.

In such dreams, general mass-information is given, that the individuals then use as they desire. [...]

It will take little extra effort on your part to remind yourself of the significance of your dreams again, and to bring those into a more workable, practical focus.

Existence within any field is more complicated than you dream either possible or reasonable. [...]

You cannot find any given dream location, either, within the brain itself. The solid matter of your world is the result of the play of your senses upon an inner dimension of activity that exists as legitimately, and yet as tantalizingly hidden, as an idea or a dream location.

[...] At cellular levels such knowledge is available, and in one way or another imparted, often in dreams, to the individual. [...]

(Seth discussed generalized sinful-self material in only one of the five private sessions Jane has held since she came through with the 931st session for Dreams three weeks ago.¹ In some respects lately she’s felt a bit more at ease.²

[...] As the origin of your world did indeed emerge from the “world of dreams,” so the true root of all events lie in such subjective activities, and the answers to individual challenges and problems [...]

[...] Some of your dreams tell you far more about the nature of reality than the most vivid physical experience.

[...] His dream about Miss Callahan was a legitimate projection, and they did both meet.

(This afternoon Jane had a very revealing dream about the whole question of protection, the male aspects of her personality, etc.; a copy is attached to the session.

[...] On the other hand he carried the beliefs of this afternoon’s dream—that originality made a person instantly suspect, and that in the ordinary world, if you put yourself in the world’s eye its people would hunt you down. [...]

In the case of our book (Dreams), however, Ruburt himself was worried about your attitude. [...]

[...] My own idea about holding off on Seth’s latest book, Dreams, is not that it will force any solution, but merely, hopefully, prevent things from getting worse. [...]

(To Ron) Now, if you would pay attention, you could wake up in a dream and understand me more clearly. [...]

[...] And I even expect you (Ron) to remember the dream. [...]

[...] It can do anything that you do now in your dreams. [...]

He is in the dream state.

[...] Those other background stimuli are now quite difficult for you to identify, but they are always there in the [hinterland] of your waking consciousness, like dream chatter way beneath your usual associations.

When you sleep the ego becomes unfocused, but still present, and its goals and attitudes to some extent do color dream experiences. The survival personality has somewhat the same relationship to the ego as the dreaming personality has to it now.

There is the same sort of disorientation that the ego experiences within physical reality when an individual dreams. [...]

[...] [Some of them are on reincarnation, and I plan to present them when Seth gets into that subject in Dreams.] On October 7, a Sunday, Jane saw for the first time the work Sue Watkins has done on Conversations With Seth, the book she’s writing about the ESP classes Jane used to hold. [...]

[...] There are all kinds of definite, even specific, subjective evidence for the nature of your own reality—evidence that is readily apparent once you really begin to look for it, particularly by comparing the world of your dreams with your daily life.

[...] Only in the dream state is any such communication allowed. [...]

[...] Some incidents will occur in our sessions, and some in your coordinated nap periods, as well as in the dream state; and within a few months if these suggestions are followed.

[...] She told me she’d gotten the feeling from Seth that we’d have a significant dream tonight—of the kind he had talked about a long time ago. [...]
