“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(So as we waited for the session I told Jane that I didn’t know which to ask Seth to talk about—my question from last session, or the arrival of God of Jane and her new physical changes.)

[...] If he had set out, and he didn’t, to plan a process that would enable him to use his abilities to the fullest in his writing and other fields in which he is interested, and yet to discipline himself so that he did not scatter his abilities, if he had set out on a plan toward maturity, and to set definite controls upon his sometimes too fast, out-of-proportion responses, he could not have found a better path than the one which he is now following.

(For the moment I’d forgotten the notes I wrote concluding the last session, deleted for November 12, having to do with Seth suggesting we throw our hassles with Prentice and foreign publishers into Framework 2; I’d written that I didn’t know whether or not I was capable of doing that at this time. [...]

[...] We didn’t know whether the session was actually over or not. [...]

(Jane felt very relaxed and sleepy by session time, yet she didn’t want to miss a session. [...]

[...] My writing hand was lame; because of this we didn’t resume the session, much as I wanted to.

[...] We didn’t plan to do this; it just developed, and we eventually realized that it did so through Jane’s simple need for a change in routine. [...]

[...] She said the music when it started really bothered her, although she didn’t leave the trance state. [...]

[...] When I suggested that you dissociate I didn’t mean that you should break up in pieces.

[...] You were released so quickly last night that quite literally you didn’t know what happened. [...]

[...] Yet you didn’t have to pay that much attention to it. [...]

(Jane thinks that tonight her ego didn’t experience anything, although some part of her did. [...]

(I reread last night’s session to Jane after supper, since today I didn’t make even a start at getting it typed. [...]

(Jane was so relaxed by session time, so “out of it,” that she didn’t think she could manage a session. [...]

[...] Note that I didn’t specifically ask that the question be discussed this evening.

[...] And when you begin, I can hear you now—”Why didn’t I know earlier. [...]

[...] We didn’t carry through, but slept instead. [...]

[...] Jane said the next day that we should have offered him shelter, but I didn’t feel any compulsion to do so. [...]

[...] I examined it, and didn’t need an operation.”

[...] Tonight, Jane said, she’d try letting Seth come through, although she didn’t think she was at her best. [...]

[...] She said she sensed a slight irritation on Seth’s part when I asked if anybody else had listened to the tape with Dr. Instream; it was as though Seth could get the information to answer the question, but didn’t feel inclined to so exert himself.
