Pure energy, or any “portion” of it, contains within itself the creative propensity toward individuation, so that within any given portion all individually conscious life is implied, created, sustained. Pure energy cannot be destroyed, and is “at every point” simultaneously being created. [...] The psyche, your psyche, is being freshly created “at every point” of its existence. For that matter, despite all appearances, the physical universe was not born through some explosion of energy which is being dispersed, but is everywhere being created at all of its points “at each moment.”

The smallest unit of pure energy, therefore, weighing nothing in your terms, containing within itself no mass, would hold within its own nature the propensity for the creation of matter in all of its forms, the impetus to create all possible universes. [...]

[...] You are unknowingly immersed in and a part of pure energy, being newly created in each moment, so that the energy of your atoms and molecules and of your physical universal system is being replenished at every conceivable moment.

Now: The senses that you use, in a very real manner, create the environment that you perceive. [...]

And so, in this children’s tale, that is given to you in parable and in symbol, you came to have your being and yet when this universe, as you know it, was then brought into existence, you had to forget momentarily where you came from and you had to be created in flesh so that you could experience, in flesh, this new portion of creativity and so that you could, in your turn, create from that of which you were physically made and so you forgot your heritage, on purpose in a way. I have told you that you create your dreams, in actuality, not in theory alone. You create an actuality, a dream universe, as real as the physical universe. [...] You can perceive the dream experience, you can receive its particular intensities, because you have created the dream experience within the universe of those intensities. You create this universe individually and collectively, man and all other beings within it, in the same manner that you create your dreams. [...]

(We were discussing the evening’s material when I happened to remark that it seemed as though a performer on television, for example, when viewed by others, might be created by millions of viewers, many of whom would be independent of each other as far as our conception of distance is concerned; yet all the images so created would overlap enough to be identifiable as the one performer.

It creates then the times, the events, and the places. [...] While you are creating the physical reality and time that you know, other portions of the self are therefore creating their own times and places. [...]

You create appearances. You create outer senses to perceive the appearances, and so what you perceive through the outer senses seems logical indeed. [...]

It may be thought of in an analogy, as a shadow, in that you create it or project it, but without conscious knowledge. [...]

You know then from past discussions that the dream world as you know it is the result of your awareness of a plane of existence which you help create, and in which you manipulate. [...]

All of these conditions merge to create the peculiar weather with its innumerable and constant changes. These exterior conditions then affect the individual physical structures and individuals react to the peculiar conditions which they have themselves created.

[...] The thrust and potential of growing things creates an overexuberance, you might say, saturating your atmosphere and changing the ionic charges both of the ground itself and the atmosphere extending upward.

[...] How can we be, if through the ages we’ve created that history and nature against which we react? In other words, on joint and individual scales, vast though they may be, we do create our joint and individual realities.

Through the centuries philosophical and religious thinkers have created numerous complicated variations of ideas involving free will and determinism, so that neither thesis is as simple as it first appears to be. [...]

There is constant interaction between all objects, and several will create a pervading psychic climate that affects those who come in contact with it.

[...] Your time system is indeed the result of tension as it is distorted within your own system, yet the distortion itself, as you see, creates a new reality. [...]

[...] He cannot create an actual reproduction of a living landscape.

[...] The best he can do is create a distortion of the original landscape—a creation of an approximation that can comfortably exist within the limited perspectives with which he can work, and using the materials that are at his own command.

Mankind is to some intimate degree acquainted with this attempt of action to recreate itself, for human reproduction is here a case in point, each individual attempting to create a replica, the attempt doomed to failure, but the attempt itself resulting in a distortion of the original action; that is, a distortion of the original individuals, and in the creation of a new reality, this process then being repeated indefinitely.

(Long pause.) It creates in physical terms that you recognize. On the other hand, you create physical time for your psyche, for without you there would be no experience of the seasons, their coming and their passing.

[...] When you travel as pioneers through your own reality, you create each blade of grass, each inch of land, each sunset and sunrise, each oasis, friendly cabin or enemy encounter as you go along.

I speak to you from the known and unknown desire that gives you your own birth, and that speaks to you from the tiniest, least-acknowledged thought that flies like a pigeon within your skull … And in this moment of your reality, and in the desire of your being, do you even create All That Is. [...] If you want to speak in terms of God, then from that infinite gestalt you receive the energy to create, but because you have free will, you create what you choose and you learn through experience. [...] You can disappear for fun, you can disappear to create, you can disappear out of curiosity, but do not disappear out of panic. [...]

Basically you create your experience through your beliefs about yourself and the nature of reality. Another way to understand this is to realize that you create your experiences through your expectations. [...]

Within this framework you have full freedom to create your experience, your personal life in all of its aspects, the living picture of the world. Your personal life, and to some extent your individual living experience, help create the world as it is known in your time.
