[...] At the same time, as the book’s criticism has a good import, so is the disclaimer in its fashion a creative example, again, of the book’s premise, and also would serve for that matter in a way that may not have been anticipated: with the disclaimer the book may well sell more copies by far than it would otherwise (humorously), for people will be curious about what such a volume might contain that will be dangerous to the public good. [...] Jane thinks Tam meant the paperback edition of Volume 2 of “Unknown,” since the week’s sales figures, which arrived today, show sales of some 3,000 copies of that edition. [...]

(The session really grew out of several insights that Jane herself has voiced since giving last Wednesday night’s book copy. [...]

[...] The irony of the situation is that she’s been doing very well on Seven; just yesterday she’d remarked that she intended to begin typing finished copy for the chapters she’s completed so far. [...]

(Then this noon we received from Prentice-Hall copies of the revised index for Volume 1 of “Unknown,” plus new page proofs of the type chosen for Volume 2—a matter we’d thought already settled. [...]

(This afternoon John Bradley, our friend from Williamsport, PA, who has been a witness several times now, stopped and asked if he could be a witness for tonight’s session; he also had some information on how to obtain some extra copies of this material. [...]

(John Bradley took with him Volume I of the Seth Material, consisting of the first 15 sessions, first carbon; two friends of his who are professional typists had offered to try copying the material, and John thought that this amount of material, 147 pages, would be sufficient to test their interest and staying power. [...]

[...] Jane told her this morning that she could borrow the copy of If We Live Again that we have in 330; Georgia wants it overnight for her daughter to read. [...]

(On May 3, the day after she’d delivered the last session, Jane was working on her third Seven novel when she received from Prentice-Hall a dozen complimentary copies of her second Seven: The Further Education of Oversoul Seven. [...]
