“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(There was more, but of a similar nature. I concluded somewhat wryly that if such things developed we’d probably end up running for shelter—hiding in a cave in the hills somewhere....)

(To conclude the whole episode I’d like to illuminate, from two additional angles, Jane’s feelings and concerns about needing the understanding of others:

The nature of any given probable action does not lead to any particular inevitable concluding act.

[...] One given act does not necessarily then lead to act B and C, and hence to a concluding action. [...]

(At the same time, Jane also liked my concluding material in the notes, regarding the integration of each portion of the personality into one whole, and so thus attaining the freedom to follow any chosen course of action in the world.

[...] Recently Jane and I found it the height of irony that Begin and Sadat were jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize—evidently, we sarcastically concluded, because after thirty years of fighting Israel and Egypt weren’t shooting at each other—at least for the moment.

[...] The night before, she’d come up with good material about how to conclude her third Seven novel. [...]

The others present will always remember what happened here, and my explanation was a necessity if the affair was to be successfully concluded.

(For the moment I’d forgotten the notes I wrote concluding the last session, deleted for November 12, having to do with Seth suggesting we throw our hassles with Prentice and foreign publishers into Framework 2; I’d written that I didn’t know whether or not I was capable of doing that at this time. [...]

[...] I concluded by saying that I did think we had plenty of insight into our own actions—far more than most people did —so why the extreme reactions?)

I put the concluding statements separate, since I thought they would be more effective that way. [...]
