(Jane’s voice was fairly deep in the 151st session. There have been some other instances of a voice deeper but not necessarily much louder or stronger; my estimate is that she reached her deepest voice in the 33rd session, of March 9,1964. In that session her voice was also loud, much louder than in tonight’s session.

I will now suggest that you take a break. I will also tell you, Joseph, that with my voice I am like a bird trying out its new wings. (Jane’s voice grew abruptly much louder, briefly.) And if I grow overenthusiastic I trust that you will forgive me. I will here in your apartment however keep a careful watch.

As always I regret leaving you. You may rest assured that I will hold my own with your psychologists. I am very fond of your Dr. Instream, however. We shall proceed in a way that will serve us all very well, and (louder) you need have no doubts concerning the affair in general.

It is very possible that Ruburt will soon discover that I am who I say I am. He knows this subconsciously, but I am speaking now of a conscious recognition. I now bid my friends a fond (deeper and louder) good evening. And if I do not sound like a nightingale, it may be said that I speak in tones not quite as bad as a grandfather frog.
