As words would tell little, or give small hint of the reality of sound or color to someone who did not experience these, so the words used can only give insight into the nature of reality. [...]

When I speak of bettering material constructions, I speak of more perfect constructions, more faithful replicas of thought into matter, and hence I speak of the breaking up of unfortunate cycles caused by the influence of shoddy physical constructions in environment, that in turn color the inner self’s notion of the material world.

Not only that, it appears that Prentice-Hall may have found at the same time the ideal illustrator for the work; black-and-white copies of sample illustrations have been sent to Jane, done by the female artist, with Tam’s assurances that the color is brilliant.
