[...] They are given much more, for example, to ideas rather than to the various camouflage realities within systems. Many groups, you see, deal exclusively with the camouflage reality between systems, with building it up, with its maintenance.

[...] And in that respect, they are initiators, say, of a particular camouflage system. But they are not those who continually nourish that camouflage system. [...]

[...] For physical reasons of course you need that camouflage interpretation, but you also need to learn the difference between it and inner cognizance.

[...] You do this now without knowing that you do so, but a body can be made from the camouflage of any system, constructed easily when you know how to do it.

Space suits are therefore an inadequate, clumsy memory of an inner ability to clothe the inner self with whatever camouflage is at hand. [...]

The ideas of space and time emerge only when consciousness adopts camouflage, only when it becomes wedded, in other words, with a physical-type existence. [...]

[...] they’re perfect camouflages of wherever they are, but certain sound pitches would make them visible.”

[...] In so doing you never think of looking for it in the conscious mind, since you are convinced that all deep answers lie far beneath — and, moreover, that your consciousness is not only unable to help you but will often send up camouflages instead. [...]

[...] Console can freely speak about it in public, because it carries within itself its own lovely camouflage. [...]

[...] In the 44th session for April 15th, 1964, I find him saying, in part, “Growth in your camouflage [physical] universe involves the taking up of more space. [...] Nor does it imply, as growth does in your camouflage universe, a sort of projection into time.

[...] If growth is one of the most necessary laws of your camouflage universe, value fulfillment corresponds to it in the inner-reality universe.”

(Seth, in the 512th session in Chapter 1 of Seth Speaks: “Now at times I will be using the term ‘camouflage,’ referring to the physical world to which the outer ego relates, for physical form is one of the camouflages that reality adopts.”)

[...] It is only the camouflage [physical] structure that gives the impression of closed systems, and the law of inertia does not apply. [...]

1. Once again (as in Note 7 for the last session), I quote Seth from the 45th session: “Any investigation of the basic inner universe, which is the only real universe, must be done as much as possible from a point outside your own distortions … To get outside your own universe, you must travel inward … Your so-called scientific, so-called objective experiments can continue for an eternity, but they will only probe further and further with camouflage [physical] instruments into a camouflage universe … The subconscious, it is true, has elements of its own distortions, but these are easier to escape than the tons of distortive camouflage atmosphere that weigh your scientific experiments down.”

[...] Space travel will be dumped when your scientists discover that space as you know it is a distortion, and that journeying from one so-called galaxy to another is done through divesting the physical body of camouflage [matter]. [...]

5. “Disentanglement” immediately reminded me of the inner senses — those qualities and abilities which the personality uses to apprehend its physical (or camouflage) world. [...] His “Disentanglement From Camouflage” happened to be number eight on a list of nine, although the order is unimportant. [...]

“With disentanglement,” Seth stated in the 43rd session, “the inner self disengages itself from one particular camouflage before it either adopts another set smoothly or dispenses with camouflage entirely. [...]

Seth’s material in those early sessions, given well over a decade ago for the most part, reflected of course his reactions to current astronomical theory about the state — and fate — of our physical (camouflage) universe. [...] But again, these ideas aren’t based on the kind of thinking Seth espouses (that consciousness comes first, that its creations are continuous), but upon other quite complicated camouflage observations and measurements. [...]

“Their time measurements, based on camouflage [physical information] to begin with, are almost riotously inadequate and bound to give distortive data, since the universe simply cannot be measured in those terms. [...]

At the beginning of Appendix 12, see the longer presentation from the 44th session for Seth’s discussion of “the value climate of psychological reality” — the “medium” that spontaneously contains within it all of our camouflage constructions of space, time, growth, and durability. [...]

[...] They do not perceive your physical objects, for their reality is composed of a different camouflage structure. [...]

[...] It is concerned with the entity’s working knowledge of the basic vitality of the universe … Without this sixth sense and its constant use by the inner self, you could not construct the physical camouflage universe. [...]

[...] I’m only noting that such abilities represent one more means, upon a vast time scale, by which consciousness inexhaustibly seeks to know itself in this camouflage reality.

4. Earlier in this decade of our camouflage reality, all four of our parents died within a period of less than three years. [...]

I think it very likely that aborted fetuses and those infants who die early in “life” — say within a few months after birth, especially — never intended to stay long within camouflage (physical) reality to begin with; the consciousnesses within those small human structures came just to momentarily sample our world of matter, whether from inside the womb or out of it. [...]

[...] Within the overriding constancy of the speed of light, all phenomena in our camouflage reality — motion, velocity, mass, matter, time, space, gravitation, and so forth — are seen as relative to each other. [...]

8. I began these notes several weeks after the 732nd session was held, so that I had some camouflage time to sort out events, and to let others happen.

4. Strange, how things can develop or not in our camouflage reality. [...]

The longer we went without class, the more Jane and I saw how much its demise paralleled the ending of “Unknown” Reality. Both events were inevitable, we came to understand; both had had their time; our regrets about the finishing of both are real, while simultaneously we heartily agree that the nature of life in this physical — or “camouflage” — reality is one of unending change and renewal. [...]

[...] Ruburt tried to hide what he thought of as characteristics that would frighten you—but the need itself was only camouflaged.
