“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Jane felt much better today after hitting something of a low spot recently. Today also saw the shooting of Senator Robert F. Kennedy. John Pitre phoned this evening from Louisiana, with three questions for Jane. These concerned John’s uneasy feeling about his wife Peg, last week; the strange loss of feeling in his legs in hot weather; and an effort to learn something from Seth about a pilot who disappeared some four years ago in a light plane near John’s hometown, Franklin, LA, which is close to the Gulf of Mexico.

There are close psychological connections in all cases—psychological web-works, and psychic recognitions that bring together the slayer and his victim, and these are known to the inner self. The stature and meaning behind the victim adds to the horrible nature of the act, and of course this is the point.

(During break I wondered aloud if Seth had to communicate with his entity before getting permission to speak. I did not really mean to use the word permission, meaning instead whether there had to be any sort of understanding or agreement between the two personalities as to who would hold the session, or at least begin it. The funny consequences are apparent when Jane resumes as Seth at 10:00.)

Now Johnson (the President) could also be in for some difficulty, in terms of health, and his heart. (Pause, eyes closed, gesture.) Do not ask questions while we thicken Ruburt’s fog… There is something we are trying to get through about Humphrey… I believe his will be the nomination.

He courted or adopted his dead brother’s characteristics and gestures not because, as it was thought, he wanted to bank upon his prestige, but because he had an inner compulsion to do so, knowing the events that would occur.

He himself changed the probabilities purposely, and his father realized this. But the probabilities thus changed, the two other brothers of which we have spoken this evening came into different positions of action.

Occlusion (Jane looked at me questioningly concerning this word and I nodded) for Kennedy. Pressure on a frontal lobe. Perhaps a hole, or another hole drilled to relieve pressure. With all of this and his knowledge and acceptance of his role, and his choice of the role, there is still a tremendous will on other levels to survive within your system. And a chance for rally.

His effectiveness and his role are completed, however. I believe he will succumb. This is his moment however, and his inner choice. The next moment is never predetermined. Never, regardless of what you may hear. The individual can change the probabilities. They point now to his death. (Pause.

He is discussing affairs with his brother now. In the background of this incident, and connected with the slayer, a woman, a sister or like a sister to him. A small grocery store.

(Again, learned via TV after the session: The assassin evidently belonged to a pro-Arab, anti-Israel organization of an inflammatory nature. Jane knew of his Arab identity before the session.)

As Ruburt suspected, there is also a connection with his own emotional cycle and the two events. He knows what I mean.
