(We did not know which personality would speak this evening, nor what subjects would be covered. We sat for the session as usual at 9 PM. As it developed Seth spoke the entire evening, in a voice about as usual, with pauses, eyes open often.)

Initiated. Without the struggle for these ideals a complacent vacuum develops. Now the real struggle for these ideals results in strength. The struggle results in strength. (Long pause.) If there is an honest struggle, an honest effort toward peace and brotherhood, then even if war erupts on a practical level then the psychic development is healthier than if no effort toward peace is made, or if ideals are merely mouthed.

Give us a moment. (Hand up, eyes closed, one minute pause.)

Now Johnson (the President) could also be in for some difficulty, in terms of health, and his heart. (Pause, eyes closed, gesture.) Do not ask questions while we thicken Ruburt’s fog… There is something we are trying to get through about Humphrey… I believe his will be the nomination.

(Pause, eyes closed. There followed a three-minute pause as Jane sat quietly in the rocker with one hand raised to her eyes.)

Now. I believe Garrison will come into the news again shortly… As a cousin of the Kennedys… (Long pause.) I do not myself know medical terms clearly enough to transmit them so that Ruburt can translate them.

His effectiveness and his role are completed, however. I believe he will succumb. This is his moment however, and his inner choice. The next moment is never predetermined. Never, regardless of what you may hear. The individual can change the probabilities. They point now to his death. (Pause.

If he can adapt in this life to another vital but different role, then he could live; but to some extent, basically, with a different alignment, in your terms only, taking on the problems of the next reincarnation without changing physical forms. Now this is often done. I do not believe he has the strength for it. (Long pause.)

George—this may be separate, or connected with the Garrison data. (Long pause.)

The three at the meeting strongly connected with another group of seven men. (Pause.) An inner portion of an organization. And unclear here: the organization is not a front organization, yet it is not what it seems to be either.

I do not know whether the specific instance was known, but its likelihood is suspected (pause), and in some way some Jewish money may have been involved though not necessarily the money paid to the prisoner.

(Seth paused, rather than withdrawing, so I asked a question.

The man Ruburt thinks of with the funny eyes is a fairly good portrait of the artist I told you of. He always wore a cap, however. (Long pause; slower pace, eyes closed.) It is as he was in a Belgium life.
