“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Jane felt much better today after hitting something of a low spot recently. Today also saw the shooting of Senator Robert F. Kennedy. John Pitre phoned this evening from Louisiana, with three questions for Jane. These concerned John’s uneasy feeling about his wife Peg, last week; the strange loss of feeling in his legs in hot weather; and an effort to learn something from Seth about a pilot who disappeared some four years ago in a light plane near John’s hometown, Franklin, LA, which is close to the Gulf of Mexico.

The ideals were mouthed but not believed. Individuals only gave them lip service, and yet individual and mass guilt grew because of the difference between ideals and behavior. The country did not face its own inner reality. You have a schizophrenic condition then. Those who stood in the positions of King (Martin Luther) and of both Kennedys bring the inner psychic problems to a head. In one way they act as physicians, but they are also the patient who dies.

(Note that here Seth implies that Senator Kennedy, who was alive at the time of this session, would die. In fact the Senator did die the next morning, close to 5 AM, EDT.)

(9:50. Jane said that just before the session began, she had a “flash” to the effect that another Kennedy was to be involved in a tragedy, or that the present situation involving Senator Kennedy would evolve into another tragedy.

Another tragedy due, either closely connected with the present situation, with those involved in this present situation, or with another member of the Kennedy family.

I believe Percy will have some part to play, either at the convention or perhaps in the lineup of a new government. When the first brother, or rather President Kennedy died, then it was known that this present situation would occur, and Bob Kennedy knew this very nearly at a conscious level.

The eldest brother in the Kennedy family initially intended to take President Kennedy’s role. The two were closely bound, but the elder refused the role.

The third is frightened. He will remain in a passive capacity relatively. (Note: Summer 1975. Kennedy [Ted] said he wouldn’t run for presidency. JRB.) Take your break, and take care of your beloved monster.

Now. I believe Garrison will come into the news again shortly… As a cousin of the Kennedys… (Long pause.) I do not myself know medical terms clearly enough to transmit them so that Ruburt can translate them.

Occlusion (Jane looked at me questioningly concerning this word and I nodded) for Kennedy. Pressure on a frontal lobe. Perhaps a hole, or another hole drilled to relieve pressure. With all of this and his knowledge and acceptance of his role, and his choice of the role, there is still a tremendous will on other levels to survive within your system. And a chance for rally.

(This session was held on June 5, the evening of the same day that Senator Kennedy was shot. Damage to the rear portion of the brain, the cerebellum, had been announced after the operation attempting to save Senator Kennedy’s life.

(At this writing, much of this material has not been checked by events. Some has, however. Immediately after this session, upon turning on TV, we tuned into an interview with the proprietor and wife of a small grocery or food store where the Kennedy assassin, Sirhan Sirhan, had been employed.)

(As noted, we turned on TV immediately after the session, and saw some of Seth’s data seemingly begin to bear itself out. Probably many weeks. however, will have to pass before we learn the full story behind the Kennedy assassination; then this data can be more accurately evaluated.)
