Now generally speaking, such emotional responses set up electromagnetic forces. These forces in a large measure form boundaries inside which is a general, or generalized, field or system to which the individual will respond. The emotional blockage sets up barriers however whose main purpose is to protect the individual from anything that he considers at all unsafe or threatening, or simply unpleasant.

It is not a simple question that may be summed up in a statement, such as “attitudes regulate behavior.” What is not understood is that emotional attitudes, conscious and subconscious, have an electromagnetic reality that operates very efficiently, either as an open system which attracts new stimuli, or as a closed electric force that is supercharged.

Now these same sort of emotional systems operate under all conditions, and they regulate the kinds of experience to which an individual is susceptible or open, and they close out from his awareness those experiences which he has already decided he will not accept. Again, the emotional attitudes have their own electromagnetic reality. This field or system will therefore attract certain experiences, close out others, allow others to come so close and no closer, as is the case with Marleno and our sessions.

Definite electromagnetic actions will therefore occur between the two dreamers, and there may be a spilling over of data, or dream information, before the circuit is closed. You must realize that I am not speaking symbolically. I am speaking in very practical terms. The electromagnetic systems do indeed exist, and when they are open telepathic communications can travel through.

The same also applies to clairvoyance, or to be more precise, precognition, although here we are involved with something more. I have explained how dream images are constructed. You realize that they also have an electromagnetic reality, so there is no difficulty in their transmission from one dreamer to another.
