“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Jane has been practicing psychological time regularly, but reports that she has achieved little besides her usual excellent state. She has had no unusual or startling experiences since Seth cut her psy-time periods to 20 minutes, in the 151st session.

(Jane has had some striking clairvoyant and telepathic experiences outside of psy-time, however, and is keeping separate records of these. Three such instances in the last two weeks have been especially interesting. One was clairvoyant, two were telepathic. Two of the experiences have been verified so far by the other people involved.

(This evening’s session was held in our small back room, and was very peaceful and quiet. Jane spoke while sitting down and with her eyes closed. Her voice was quiet and she used pauses for the first time in quite a few sessions.)

(Break at 9:23. Jane was dissociated as usual for a first break. Her pace had been good, even with pauses.

(Jane resumed, again with her eyes closed, and sitting down, in a quiet voice, and at a brisk pace, at 9:31.)

(Jane now took a long pause, sitting quietly without moving for perhaps a minute. It was the first such pause she had used in quite a few sessions.)

(Break at 10:01. Jane was dissociated as usual. She said she can usually recall what she said when she is dealing with personalities, such as Dr. Instream. She finds the kind of abstract material presented above difficult to retain, however, outside of a very general idea.

(Jane had delivered the above material while sitting down and with her eyes closed. Her voice had been quiet, her manner slow and with pauses. She resumed in the same fashion at 10:07.)

(Jane smiled, a reaction that I expected. It will be remembered that the sessions began when Jane contacted the Frank Watts personality. Frank Watts in turn is a fragment of the Seth entity. Seth discussed Frank Watts to some degree in the 85th and 88th sessions, promising more data in the future.)

(Jane smiled again.)

(After a short pause Jane’s eyes opened.

(End at 10:27. Jane was dissociated as usual. Her eyes had remained closed, her voice quiet. She said Seth had felt no apparent urge to elaborate on any of his answers to my questions. He was concerned mainly with the general material. She said she sensed a slight irritation on Seth’s part when I asked if anybody else had listened to the tape with Dr. Instream; it was as though Seth could get the information to answer the question, but didn’t feel inclined to so exert himself.

(Jane said that after thinking over the recent occasions when strong voice effects were demonstrated, as in the 170th and 172nd sessions, she feels that Seth uses the voice as an insulator for herself and as a projection of himself.)
