(As we lay in bed after last Monday’s session, Jane told me: “I’ve got it — from Seth, I think: A really complete astrological chart would have to include not only the time of your birth, but that of your death.” [...]

[...] I knew that my body was in bed, but lost all contact with it. [...]

“Jane and I went to bed at about 1:15 A.M., after watching a movie on television. [...]

[...] Portions of the brain not used lie latent, waiting for the recognition that will trigger them into activity (intently). When this happens, the mind will become aware of the rich bed of probabilities upon which the ego now rides so blindly.

[...] “I almost think I could go to bed right now, but I know I won’t. There: I just picked up the next two or three sentences for after break,” she said as she got up and moved about, “but they can wait.”

(By 11:25 PM Jane felt better, but still wanted to snap out of it all the way before she went to bed. [...]

(A note: Jane did tell me Saturday that she’s noticed an improvement in her hands and arms, and also in her ability to get onto the bed from her chair, since we made the decision to not do publicity.)

Ideally, a new bed would be advantageous, both physically and symbolically. [...]

[...] With welfare’s help Marie set up a telephone answering service for local doctors that she ran from her bed. [...]
