[...] Actually, subconsciously he picked up my thoughts on this occasion. [...] In actuality there is only a spacious present, so spacious that it cannot be explored all at once in your terms, hence your arbitrary division of it into larger rooms of past, present and future.

In the spacious present as it exists in actuality beyond shadow, all things that have existed still exist, and all things that shall exist in your tomorrow already do exist. [...]

As I have said that the walls of your house do not actually exist as such, so the divisions that you have placed within the spacious present do not exist. [...]

[...] An example being the spider’s web, and the table of a past discussion which is actually a conglomeration of atoms and molecules, loosely held together but experienced by your outer senses as a solid camouflage structure which can be used and manipulated in your camouflage existence.

[...] asking yourself how many actual people I’ve met who scorned me... [...] and to remind myself and the subconscious about responding to actual experience...remind it also that its experiences with scorn or whatever, as written down—were not all of its experience by a long shot. [...]

(The idea seemed to be that creativity, mine and anyone’s, is initially playful, curious, seeks expression—and is one of the highest kinds of psychic play—the artist playing with concepts no matter what the art; and actually inserts his or her reality onto the world, superimposed upon it. [...]

I have told you that you create your dreams, in actuality, not in theory alone. You create an actuality, a dream universe, as real as the physical universe. [...]

[...] No intensity of impulse is actually ever the same as any other.

[...] To make such data meaningful to the conscious self requires other steps of subconscious interpretation that actually have to do with an electrical regrouping and realignment.

It is then further processed into individual significances, drives, or intents, which convert it into the required codes that will then determine the nature of actualized waking events. [...]

It is learning the art of actualization. [...] But it has yet to learn the means of actualization, and must find within itself ways to bring into existence those untold creations that are within it.

[...] In actuality, you are aware of very little of your larger, more extensive environment. [...]

The play itself was concerned with the actualization of intuitive truth into what you would call artistic form, with a creativity of such vast and sweeping results that it would serve to awaken latent abilities within each actor and to serve as a model of behavior.

(To me:) Because you are so drawn to Ruburt, there is the struggle to actualize your emotions toward him in daily life. [...]

In a fashion those ancient dreamers, through their immense creativity, dreamed all of life’s creatures in all of their pasts, presents, and futures—that is, their dreams opened up the doors of space and time to entities that otherwise would not have been released into actualization, even as, for example, the units of consciousness were once released from the mind of All That Is.

(4:31.) The analogy of the many speeds of consciousness actually fits in well with the actual neurological sequences upon which consciousness plays. [...]

It is not so much the actual rhythms that are manifested that make the difference in perception, but the absence of certain other rhythms (intently), upon which perceptions ride.

I am mentioning this only to stress the fact that self-delight and self-approval (long pause) are natural characteristics — characteristics that actually make your entire physical world, and world of experience, possible.

“By the time” that the Garden of Eden tale reached your biblical stories, the entire picture had already been seen in the light of concepts about good and evil that actually appeared, in those terms, a long time later in man’s development. [...]

[...] Jane said it was as though her eyes had actually moved further apart to create this expanded field of awareness, of infinite black. [...]

(And from the 40th session:) The tissue capsule is actually an energy field boundary … At the same time it protects the whole self from certain radiations which do not here concern you. [...]

[...] Listing them as I’ve done here is also apt to artificially set them aside from the flow of insights within the poetry Jane has written since childhood; actually, of course, all are related.

[...] There is a continual exchange of energy and vitality, in other words, of actual atoms and molecules between one plane and another … the interaction and movement of even one plane through another results in effects that will be perceived in various ways … as necessary distortive boundaries, in some cases resembling a flow as if a plane were surrounded by water, or in other cases a charge as of electricity. [...] These wait in the wings, so to speak, for physical actualization. The final trigger for that actualization may come from the waking or dream states, but it will represent the final factor needed — the quickening of inspiration, desire, or purpose — that will suddenly activate the initial psychological organization as a physical occurrence.

(Although the session ostensibly ended here, there were actually several succeeding — and continuing — effects that grew out of it. [...]

For example as I have said, the fourth or conceptual sense ignores what you call past, present and future, and so can appreciate a concept in its entirety, can actually experience the concept in much the same manner that you might work out an idea through a drama, if you follow me.

In actuality molecular structures and patterns are not rigid. [...]

To some extent, and to a much larger extent than you realize, this happens on your own plane, only in this case it is the subconscious will that does the actual transforming.

I am mentioning this material in the same session with the fifth inner sense so that you will finally understand that use of the fifth inner sense is not actually as strange as you may have thought it to be.

[...] In one way or another, through your conscious thought you attracted such an event, and drew it from probability into actuality. [...]

[...] During your life, any event must come through your creaturehood, with the built-in time recognition that is so largely a part of your neurological structure; so usually there is a lag, a lapse in time, during which your beliefs cause material actualization. [...]

[...] The actual work involved in the selection of data is still made according to the beliefs in the artist’s conscious mind as to who he is, how good an artist he is, what kind of artist he is, what “school” of artistic beliefs he subscribes to, his ideas of society and his place in it, and esthetic and economic values, to name but a few.

(Long pause.) The same sort of thing operates in the actualization of any event in which you are involved. [...]

[...] The interrelationship between units or systems is, therefore, between not only those that now appear actual to you, but between all systems or units that you assume to be future or past, with those that appear to be present.

This interrelationship is not in terms of cause and effect, as this law is a distortive misinterpretation of actuality. [...]

[...] Units or systems then are open, interdependent and simultaneous in actuality.

[...] In actuality, her delivery had been so slow that at times she paced from one end of our living room to the other before giving voice to the next word. [...]

(Pause.) Your father’s sentence—the paper-bag reference—was one he actually made in his own mind, in the life that you actually knew him in, and he considered that sons rather than daughters represented his one physical triumph —that is, he believed sons preferable, and they alone compensated for a working man’s life—a life he felt did not befit him. [...] If your father did have daughters, rather than sons in the life that you know, he actually would have fared better in the physical world, because he would have felt it his duty to protect them financially: he would have considered them fairly helpless, and in need of his abilities. [...]
