Your dreams are private, as your waking life is, and yet there is a mass waking experience and a mass dreaming experience in which each individual finds his or her own place, and accepts or rejects events. [...]

Both privately and en masse, then, mankind utilizes the dream world as a preliminary working ground. [...]

In Psyche, Seth addresses himself to the matter of human sexuality for the first time in his published works, discussing it as it relates to the private and mass psyche, and connecting sexuality with its spiritual and biological sources.

[...] He sees the psyche experimenting privately with probable actions in the dream state, and envisions humanity’s mass dreams as providing an inner vehicle by which man chooses global events. [...]

At this writing, Seth is nearly halfway through The Individual and the Nature of Mass Events, which will show where and how private beliefs become public events. [...]

[...] The best answer I got was when I laid Through My Eyes aside to work on Mass Events I felt bad about doing that. Not that I resented working on Mass Events. [...]

April 12 have a “dream” that a man is talking to me about Mass Events primarily, saying that he’s seen a copy and there is nothing about the disclaimer to anger me, that it’s ok, and then mentioning God of Jane. [...]

[...] Strictly speaking, it isn’t dictation for Mass Events, but Jane and I are presenting portions of it here because Seth discussed events and memory with a different emphasis, and touched upon aspects of reincarnation² — all subjects that spring out of that ineffable, really undefinable quality he calls simultaneous time. Where matter would exist there, a concentration of energy forms what you could think of as a body form, body meaning mass, yet it would not be matter in your terms. Such manifestations in the electric field are much more powerful, in terms of intensity per mass unit, than anything you know. [...]

The physical body, in other words, exists as an electrical body that is not material, that has a peculiar mass but no weight, whose characteristics are apparent in terms of not varying shapes, but varying intensities and concentrations of electric force. [...]

[...] Today Jane told me that she thought Seth would go into the famous—or infamous—disclaimer that Prentice-Hall wants to attach to Mass Events. [...]

[...] We knew by now that we were resigned to having the disclaimer inserted into Mass Events, but we wanted to have our say—partially out of anger and partially out of self-protection, since we didn’t believe all the legal department had told us; we wanted them to know we understood the subterfuges involved.

[...] In that particular book (Mass Events)—rather powerful honored aspects, and criticism will (underlined) meet criticism. [...]

1. Jane and I have also been thinking of Mass Events as an extension of Seth’s second book, Personal Reality. It seems incredible to us, so fast has the time passed, but counting Mass Events Seth produced Personal Reality five books ago — and some five to six years ago from this moment; he dictated it during 1972–73.

(Since Jane began dictating Mass Events 11 months ago, I’ve mentioned our checking the printer’s page proofs for two of her other books: Volume 1 of “Unknown” Reality, and Cézanne. [...]

[...] But as a rule they are personal actualities, without a general (underline general) mass framework. However mass dreams do occur (underlined). [...]

[...] Now this gives rise to what you may call mass-perception, with a hyphen between the two words.

When you are dealing with dream locations you are not dealing with mass-perceptions, but with personal perceptions. [...]

(Seth has dealt with the problem of mass-perception in the sessions on the creation of matter: 60-73, among others. [...]

[...] The mass world rises up before your eyes, but your eyes are part of that mass world. [...]

(Ever since she began dictating Mass Events for Seth, Jane has felt like having book sessions but once a week — on Monday nights — and doing other things in between. [...]

All elements of the interior invisible environment work together, and they form the temporal weather patterns that are exteriorized mental states, presenting you locally and en masse, then, with a physical version of man’s emotional states. [...]

[...] All of this must be taken into consideration when we discuss mass events.

[...] The cause of epidemics, say, is as I have given it in the early chapters of Mass Reality. [...]

(10:17.) The entire body biology is often not considered, and the particular individual body is often ignored, so that you have mass-produced potions, produced generally for “the body,” and certainly not tailored for any individual body. [...]

Now: in basic terms you form your reality, privately and en masse—through your beliefs, of course, and those beliefs cause you to organize your psychic world in certain fashions.

I am not speaking strictly of political parties or political newspapers, or of any specialized journals or magazines, but of the overall pattern displayed by all of your mass communications. [...]

All of the heroism, the private and even mass triumph, and the good intent, have been left out. [...]
