(Yesterday morning I took a call from Nancy Overton and Saul Cohen, who evidently will have the job of shepherding Jane’s work through Prentice-Hall, now that Tam has left. [...]

(The day after this session, Jane received a letter from her editor at Prentice-Hall, Tam Mossman, asking if she had received her contracts through the mail; there has been a worrisome delay, due at least in part to the recent postal strike.)

(We gave up our regularly scheduled sessions last week, and spent a great deal of time correcting the proofs for Volume 1 of “Unknown.”³ In fact, I didn’t finish my part of the job until midnight Sunday; then early this morning I mailed the whole thing to Tam Mossman, Jane’s editor at Prentice-Hall. 1. Jane called her book of poetry If We Live Again: Or, Public Magic and Private Love, and Prentice-Hall published it in 1982.

[...] The piece was written by John Beloff: Psi Phenomena: Causal Versus Acausal Interpretation. Beloff is one to whom I want to send a copy of “Unknown” Reality when we receive copies from Prentice-Hall.
