Thursday 12:20—What I like about all this is that I FEEL that the head area—which is clearing all day and week—is the basic area in which everything started; even the slowness; and that all of that is in the process of clearing—that, the physical stuff PLUS, this AM the feeling I’m doing stuff at creative inspirational levels too; figured out important stuff about James for example—and I FEEL that my recovery can be easy—automatic—and that it only seems that the “body needs time” etc. [...]

[...] end up with extraordinary energy and physical vitality—plus refreshed abilities; as if today things are progressing at other than conscious levels and I’m doing lots that I’m not aware of. [...]

Even if you don’t consciously remember your dreams, you do get the message. [...]

[...] When you do remember your dreams, it can be quite effective to talk mentally with any of the dream images that are distressed or in difficulties, to bolster their courage or whatever, as you would bolster the courage of children for in a way these dream images are mental children.

This has to do also with larger events that you might for convenience’s sake think of for now as psychological objects—that is, events seen and recognized by large numbers of people in the same way that objects are.

What he wants to do is use his abilities to clear the pathways to clear understanding of the nature of the soul, although he would not use the term for so long.

Platonic thought saw this inner world as perfect.⁴ As you think of it, however, perfection always suggests something done and finished, or beyond surpassing, and this of course denies the inherent characteristics of creativity, which do indeed always seek to surpass themselves. [...]

In your terms, the inner world does represent Idea Potential as yet unrealized — but those ideas and those potentials do not exist outside of consciousness. [...]

[...] (Long pause.) Maybe its actually when I feel most ambitious that I begin to feel most helpless, since I began to realize how little I’m actually doing. [...]

[...] She could do that too. [...]

[...] She was great for reading tea leaves now and then, and I used to think how strange it was that she could do that yet couldn’t walk. [...]

This one, that one, is one of your favorites, and one of Ruburt’s, and for that reason I myself do feel a warmth. [...]

[...] They are still working out old problems, and in some cases are doing very well.

[...] Bill said that in his observations of Jane as she was delivering the material, she walked with a heavier tread than she usually used; that she kept her hands in her pockets, which she usually does not do; and that her voice, while within her range, was quite a bit heavier and deeper than usual.

(I do remember that I briefly wondered, as I fell asleep, if the experience reflected a quite natural concern over the moon-landing’s potential hazards.

(I do not think that in my experience I ever “stood” on the moon surface. [...]
