([Bette:] “During break Jane stood here talking to Dee  and as I stood and watched these two, Jane all of a sudden was a very little girl looking up at this man and the man was trying desperately to get Jane to say that she was sorry for something that she had done, and Jane would not say this. (On Tuesday, November 24, we had as dinner guests Dee and Joe Masters. [...] Until about a year ago Dee was Jane’s supervisor at the art gallery. [...]

(Jane and I tried some ESP experiments with Dee and Joe, and obtained good results. In one of them Dee achieved a light trance state. [...]

(Last night, April 10, 1964, just before I fell asleep, I had the following experience: My eyes were closed but I saw a sheet of paper filled with script that I recognized to be the handwriting of Dee Masters, my supervisor at the Arnot Art Gallery where I work in the afternoons.

(To Dee G.) And it is far better to look within yourself for answers than to receive them from the outside. [...]

(Yesterday, 6/16, Jane and I bid a last farewell to Dee Masters and her husband, who left for a resort in Vermont for the summer. Dee had been Jane’s director at the art gallery for about 2½ years. Last Saturday, 6/13, Jane and I had attended a cocktail party for Dee, and Seth referred to this event briefly in the 62nd session.

[...] Jane’s friend Dee Masters, who had once been director at the gallery where Jane works, and who has been dealt with by Seth at various times, was doing something at an agitator-type washing machine. [...]

(As in the case with Dee and Joe Masters on the evening of November 24,1964–see the 110th session–some results were obtained that did not involve Seth in any way. [...]

(Joe Masters is the husband of Dee, who was director of the art gallery where Jane worked for several years. [...]

(The formal name of Dee Masters, Jane’s supervisor at the gallery, is Durosha Piry Masters.)

She is the present Dee Masters, and your Ruburt knew her in Boston as the rich wife of a politician. [...]
