“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Yet Jane is in the midst of great discomfort, whether this represents healing changes taking place within her body or not, as Seth tells us it does. [...] Our talks reminded Jane of a group of private sessions Seth gave in 1973, so she looked those over before I came out to see if she wanted a session tonight. [...]

(After last Monday night’s deleted session [on December 1], I told Jane that I wished I’d asked Seth a second question when he’d given me the chance: I’m very curious as to why I’m so fascinated by those hilltop towns in central southern Italy, inland from Naples. [...]

(“I’m taking it for granted that I can have a session,” Jane said as we sat waiting for Seth to come through at 9:13 PM, “but I sure know that I’m awfully uncomfortable.” [...]

(Jane vacillated several times between having and not having a session, before finally announcing that she felt Seth around. [...]

[...] Seth, above, seems to say that the pyramid of lights Jane saw was a dream image, that she did not see when she awoke. [...] I did not catch this, above, when Seth spoke, or I would have asked about the discrepancy. [...]

(I made some notes during the session but they are incomplete because of Seth’s fast pace, the exchange of questions and data, etc. [...]

[...] Tonight in addition, Seth’s voice was very quiet. [...]

[...] By 8:40 she could feel Seth around. [...]

[...] Even though her delivery had been on the quiet side, still at times Seth had come through with considerable power. [...]

[...] Beginning at 9:34, Seth returned with a good amount of material for her,¹ then ended the session at 9:58 P.M.)

(Since September 30 Seth has held two ESP class sessions; held a session for our friend John Barclay, who is moving to Nevada; held two sessions concerning the work Jane and I are embarking upon because of this material; and spoken through Jane upon television once more — this time during our return visit to a Washington, D.C. station.

[...] Jane hadn’t finished reading this part of the book when Seth suggested, in the 554th session for October 19, that she lay the book aside: “Let Jung go for now.” [...]

(It’s interesting to note, however, the way in which Seth “takes off” from material like Jung’s, developing it to include his own ideas and interpretations, as he does in this chapter.

(In the 185th session Seth dealt to some extent with what he called Jane’s healing ability; one point he made was that the desire to help others would aid the development of this ability. Seth of course has given specific data on various physical ills for some witnesses, and for Jane and me. [...]

[...] The data, and Seth’s explanation of the results, appear in their regular places in the session.

(It might be mentioned here that quite a few sessions ago Seth dealt with a similar vivid experience of Marian’s, in which she received a message from the father of her husband; the father died perhaps a year ago. [...]

(I presume here that by “earliest session” Seth refers to his first material on the fifth dimension, given in the 12th session. [...] Frank Watts is a fragment of Seth’s entity. Seth stated recently that the Seth material begins when he announced his presence to us by name, and this would be in the 4th session. See the 85th session, Volume 2, page 336, for Seth’s statement concerning the Frank Watts material.)

[...] Jane has been quite surprised to find many references in these books that tally with what Seth has said. Many other points in the books have served as jumping-off points for Seth’s material, also.)

(I asked if Seth would discuss Tam’s dream of January 1, 1973; her cold symptoms dating from last October; and the letter Seth has promised to dictate for correspondents. [...]

[...] Seth was insistently present. “All right, all right,” Jane said to the invisible Seth. [...]

(“Good evening, Seth.”)

[...] Still in trance, Seth/Jane said while pouring some wine: “I am giving you Tam’s material together—it will be easier to type.” [...]

(“Seth, are trees and plants fragments?”)

[...] She said that Seth would have outdistanced her had she insisted on keeping to the board. [...]

(“Seth, did I get all that down correctly?”)

[...] During it, I remarked that the next question I wanted to ask Seth was whether either Jane or I, or both of us, had ever unknowingly seen a fragment of the type our friend Bill Macdonnel had. [...]

[...] Seth did not go over it after break, mentioning distortions and telepathic static instead. But we feel that more than enough points were made to establish that Seth/Jane had picked up the correct scent. Again, see the 286th session for an explanation of the way Seth receives envelope data.

(We believe this data is an example of the distortions Seth refers to. [...] But in answer to the second question, Seth cites Jane’s difficulty, and the thought of my mother, her cousin Vivian, and Vivian’s husband Bill. [...]

[...] My thought was that the two women and a man Seth referred to were Marjorie Buck, Ruth Gridley, and Roy Fox, all connected directly to The Art Shop, which furnished the bill used as envelope object. [...] Seth apparently wanted to lead Jane away from the relative connection; but still volunteered no more specific information.

[...] Jane said she felt Seth “pushed through” a lot of important material, and in so doing used up a lot of her energy in a way she doesn’t yet understand. She feels exhausted, yet is all right as soon as Seth begins again. [...]

[...] She believes that Seth is going to give us much more information on this method of receiving data.

(By 8:50 Jane felt definite stirrings from Seth, which pleased her because she didn’t have to wonder about how she would do this evening. [...]

(Jane and I were rather amused by Seth’s cavalier advice to keep the board. [...]

[...] Her Seth voice was good, but not all that loud. The door to 330 was half-open, but I didn’t even get up to close it before Seth came through. I could hear the usual traffic moving past, or stopping outside to wait for the elevators while Seth was speaking. [...]

(“Good afternoon, Seth.”)

(11:24 P.M. Seth’s production of his book had come to be a natural part of the framework by now. [...] Seth was on his own, Jane said. [...]

(“Good evening, Seth.”)

[...] “Wow,” she said, “Seth’s going to have an awful lot to say about that — I can feel it up here.” [...]

(According to Seth, each individual chooses the time and place of every “life” in his reincarnational cycle.)

(Jane said she believes Seth is using these experiences, within the experience of the session itself, as a compensation for the psychological time experiments he has requested her to abandon for a while. It will be remembered that in the 140th session Seth stated that at times Jane would advance “too fast, too soon”, with her own experiments. She speculated that these recent experiments within experiences were Seth’s ideas re a more controlled approach.)

(Neither Jane or I felt well, but we also didn’t want to dispense with the session unless we had to, or Seth decided to.

[...] She said she started “feeling things” again toward the end, when Seth began to talk about the entity. [...]

(To our surprise, Seth now came through when the session resumed. [...] As Seth her voice was strong and on the loud side; eyes open often and very dark, pace good, smiling often. [...]

(A curiosity: Carl Watkins said he felt there was a definite mass change in Jane when she was speaking as Seth. When she rocked back and forth as Seth, Carl said, the floor beneath the rocker creaked. [...]

(We sat waiting for the session as usual at 9 PM, expecting Seth to come through. [...]

(The following may be one of those incidents from Framework 2 that Seth advised being on the lookout for: Last week I rather seriously thought of ordering a copy of The Origin of Ccs In the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind by Jaynes. [...] I’ve been curious about it ever since it was published —last year, I believe—for from the reviews printed of it I believe it contains some material that may be a distorted version of Seth’s “sleepwalker” material in Volume 2 of “Unknown” Reality.

(Jane told me as we sat for the session tonight that she’d had some hints from Seth that the session would be on faith. [...]

[...] Now she told me that Seth’s recent prediction that her eyes would show noticeable improvement shortly has evidently come to pass; she wanted me to note that here. [...]

(“Good evening, Seth.”)

[...] 11:13 P.M. Jane said she remembered Seth saying that both of us had been Speakers. [...] Then she had felt Seth return with the mention of the millions as an answer, blunting any particular uniqueness in the fact that both of us had been Speakers and were now producing the Seth material.

(“Good evening, Seth.”)

[...] “Buried” is the word Seth wanted here; I questioned him to make sure.

(A note: Seth has mentioned the Speakers just once before. [...]

[...] Not that she thought Seth was there to be seen, but she did sense something out of the ordinary. [...]

[...] (Long pause.) This book however, written by me, will therefore be entirely Seth material. [...]

(First is my dream of the night before, which I described to Jane in case she had a session and Seth wanted to comment. [...]

[...] The woman who sent it wanted Jane to write the founder of a Seth group in Syracuse; the lady is dying of cancer. [...]

[...] I told her that I got mad this morning because I felt that the Seth material wasn’t — and wouldn’t — get the hearing it deserved in our society. [...]

(Jane’s Seth voice was a bit stronger today.)

(9:52 P.M. Jane said she’d been pretty far out during the session—then added later while we talked that she was picking up from Seth information on the beginning of our own world, species and civilizations that he intended to give in the next session. Seth, then, was capable of coming through with that material right now. [...] Inevitably, the session Jane delivers for Seth next Monday evening will be somewhat different from the one she could produce tonight. [...]

Seth didn’t come through last Monday evening, New Year’s Eve. [...]

[...] The same to you,” I said, knowing that Seth’s understanding of “time” was certainly much different than ours.)

(Jane had been having trouble writing her book on the Seth material with her old spontaneity, and both of us were concerned. [...]

[...] Jane began speaking for Seth in an average voice, with pauses, eyes open often, etc. [...]

[...] I was especially concerned that Jane wouldn’t be able to surmount the problems, so explicitly delineated by Seth, above, and so eliminate the symptoms. [...]
