Seth gave excellent material on the units of consciousness in both volumes of “Unknown” Reality. In Volume 1, for example, see Session 682 for February 13, 1974.

[...] However, as I wrote in Note 1 for Session 709, in Volume 2 of “Unknown” Reality, “supposed faster-than-light particles are thought to be possible within the context of Einstein’s special theory of relativity.”

7. Seth has said all of this in various ways before, of course, since he began coming through Jane almost exactly 11 years ago — yet to my mind the four paragraphs just given contain some of his most important material in the two volumes of “Unknown” Reality. Certainly it buttresses any of his dream information in Volume 1.

This material reminds me of Seth in the 681st session in Volume 1: “The deeper explanations, however [in this case of probabilities], demand a further expansion of ideas of consciousness … It is not so much a matter of Ruburt’s vocabulary, incidentally, since even a specialized scientific one would only present these ideas in its own distorted fashion. [...]

(Volume I of “Unknown” Reality came out in the fall of 1977 — and by then Seth was well into his latest, The Individual and the Nature of Mass Events, even though this book, Psyche, hadn’t yet been typed for publication. I was still working on the notes for Volume 2 of “Unknown” Reality.

(Tonight we started the sessions up again after a three-month layoff: During that time I typed the final manuscript for Volume I of Seth’s “Unknown” Reality, with Jane’s help, and we’ve just mailed it to her publisher, Prentice-Hall, Inc. I can now begin finishing Volume 2.
