“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

The collection will include our family trees; my father’s journals and photographs; Jane’s and my own grade-school, high-school, college, and family data; our youthful creative efforts in writing and painting; the comic books and other commercial artwork I produced; our early published and unpublished short stories; my original notes for the sessions; session transcripts, whether published or unpublished, “regular,” private, or from ESP class; tapes, including those made in class of Jane speaking for Seth and/or singing in Sumari; our notes, dream records, journals, and manuscripts; our sketches and paintings; Jane’s extensive poetry; our business correspondence; books, contracts, and files; newsletters about the Seth material, published in the United States and abroad (independently of Jane and me); the greater number of letters from readers—in short, a mass of material showing how our separate beginnings flowed together and resulted in the production of a joint lifework.

For some years Jane and I devoted much work to learning the processes detailed in all of those early unpublished sessions, which were followed by her series of published books like The Seth Material, Seth Speaks, The Nature of Personal Reality, and so on. My wife’s later deleted material even contains a complete and unpublished book that she delivered just for me, about the artist Rembrandt van Rijn. [...]

Your father’s creativity, as mentioned [in earlier, unpublished sessions] had its side of secrecy, privacy and aloneness … you identified creatively with his private nature. [...]

[...] As she researched Jane’s published and unpublished notes, journals, and books for The Magical Approach, Laurel learned that my wife had originally intended to call this book The Magical Approach: A Jane/Seth Book, and wrote of it as being “a psychic-naturalistic journal.” [...]

(In my original and unpublished notes in Session 520 in Seth Speaks I listed three chances for the fruition of Seth’s prediction: The mention in Cosmopolitan of Jane’s ESP book for April 1970; Tam’s news about New American Library being very interested in the Seth material book; or Jane’s contract for the dream book being in the mail from Prentice-Hall.)

(I told Jane about the three deleted sessions for January 1980 that I’d read this morning while doing a note for Dreams—how good they were, on the body consciousness and related subjects like healing, and what a shame it is that the material sits there unread and unpublished.

That event resulted in a scribbled manuscript, unpublished, called The Physical Universe as Idea Construction. [...]

[...] But I think the main portion of my enthusiasm stemmed from the frustration I often feel because much of Seth’s material will go unpublished at this time. [...]
