I told Jane she needn’t have a session if she wanted to paint, but that if she did go into trance I wouldn’t mind getting something from Seth on the dream I’d had early this morning. [...]

[...] Her eyes closed, then opened and she was out of the trance. [...]

[...] At the time I wondered about the peculiar sleepiness, wondering if it had any connection with a trance state.

(4:20 p.m. “I notice I didn’t get any Darvoset yet,” Jane said as soon as she was out of trance. [...]

(Here she had gone into an extended trance state that lasted, for all purposes, for the rest of the evening. [...]

[...] Jane came out of trance and told us that she knew Seth had said something about astrology because she had had a conceptual experience, which she simply couldn’t put into words, involving the positions of the planets and the vastness behind their symbolism. [...]

(Jane came out of trance at 11:20 and we sat and talked about what had been said. [...]

(Since Jane began to achieve a deeper trance state, and to speak while sitting down and with her eyes closed, she has become much more sensitive to interruptions. [...]

[...] When Jane sat down again and entered the trance state, she remained quite motionless, with her eyes closed, for over a minute before she began at 10:29.)

[...] When Jane did begin speaking in trance, her voice was peculiarly gentle in quality—lighter than the usual stronger and heavier Seth voice by a good bit, almost as though she was proceeding somewhat cautiously. [...]

[...] I called Jane’s name loudly three times, as Seth has suggested doing before when her trance is deep. [...]

[...] Not only about Jane’s fine ability to speak in a trance or dissociated state for Seth, that “energy personality essence,” as he calls himself, but about all of the vastly complicated challenges that can, and do, arise in the course of a human life.

[...] Jane’s trance had been deep, her delivery fast. [...]

(Jane began speaking in trance while sitting down and with her eyes closed. [...]

(Jane began speaking in trance in a quiet voice with short pauses, her eyes opening at times.)

[...] The strange ringing was most distracting, and I thought it would never stop, yet Jane remained in trance, and continued dictation around a few pauses.)
