(A storm was building up as we sat for the session. We could hear thunder rolling beyond the mountain to the north. The day had been exceptionally hot—well over 90 degrees—probably the hottest of the year so far.

(“No....” I hesitated, though. The storm had begun. At times because of the thunder I could hardly hear Seth. The lights flickered often. The rain lashed down.)

(There was much thunder and wind and heavy rain.)

[...] Your poor little innocent flower, when it rains and thunders and storms come, does our little flower look up and say, “Here comes that evil lightening and thunder?” It does not think that the thunder and the lightening and the wind and the rain are out to get it. It realizes that the strength and vitality of life is as much in lightening and thunder and the storm as in the sunshine. [...]

A great crazy pre-dawn—snowing like the dickens, wind blowing—and its thundering at the same time. [...]

Now, although I admit I usually come to you with a voice like a musical thunder, with a voice that seems to weigh a thousand pounds, that seems to plop into the room, yet I can also come lightly as a leaf and be here when you do not know. [...]

(A hard, refreshing spring rain, with thunder and lightning, was drumming against the house as we sat for the session. [...]

5. Jane used an imaginary musical analogy in describing her sleep-state experience with “mental earphones” — but here are two psychic events of hers that can serve as real-life analogies: 1. Her reception 10 months ago, while asleep, of multidimensional data from Seth, which she followed the next day with her own material on neurological pulses; see Appendix 4 in Volume 1. 2. Her hearing Seth’s thunderous voice in her sleep two months ago, as described in the opening notes for the 710th session.
