“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Re the energy coming from in back of me: Jane said some kind of projection may have been involved here. Part of her consciousness was at an elevated spot on the wall in back of me. Actually the wall didn’t exist, Jane said, merely this dot or spot of consciousness in back of me. Jane did not see me from the spot, nor herself. Yet from this spot behind me there was a part of Jane’s or Seth’s consciousness with energy coming out like a cone, again.

(Jane felt that part of her was in back of me, that it was some kind of projection, yet she also “saw” this spot from her seat in the rocker, with her eyes closed... At one time, very dimly, Jane felt something was behind her, also, directing energy toward her.

(Again, she felt quite disoriented when she finally opened her eyes and saw the position of her chair, compared to where she had thought it was. Also, the pyramid or cone of energy from in back of me had been directed at the spot in the room where she thought she was—not where she really was.

[...] I rubbed that certain spot in the neck at the back of her head, and her head started going back and forth rapidly. I then rubbed a second spot just to the right of the first one, and again her head pounded back and forth against the pillow. “That spot and the other one must be like acupuncture,” she said. [...]

(“I was hoping he’d explain that red spot on top of my knee,” she said, adding her statement of earlier in the afternoon that she hoped it wasn’t another ulcer starting, like the previous one that had finally erupted on her knee. This is only a small red spot that could have been caused by anything. [...]

There is nothing amiss with the red spot on Ruburt’s thigh. [...]

Now: As mentioned somewhat earlier in this book, while your normal waking consciousness seems continual to you, and you are aware usually of no blank spots, nevertheless it has great fluctuations. [...] When it encounters “blank spots” and “returns,” it blots out awareness that the moment of nonfunction occurred.

(Pause at 10:23.) In periods of conscious “blank spots” or certain fluctuations, these memory systems are often perceived. [...] It need no longer perceive the momentary “blank spots” fearfully, as evidence of nonexistence.

(In between visits by staff people to do her vitals, I rubbed various spots on Jane’s head and neck. One neck spot got a good reaction, her head pounding back and forth against the pillow. [...]

There will be a game of checkers and you will jump a spot if you care to do so. If you will step into a spot briefly, to say you held it, and then step into the next spot. [...]

You will take one foot into that position for a brief time only (on the triangle), and then, convention satisfied, leap into the next spot. [...]
