[...] I found two sources in Seth Speaks. In Chapter 7, see the 530th session for May 20, 1970, at 10:02: “There are realities that are ‘relatively more valid’ than your own … your physical table [for example] would appear as shadowy in contrast … You would have a sort of “supertable” in those terms. [...]

(Let it be noted there is a bridge of sorts here however, in that for most of this intervening time I have had a studio of my own. [...]

[...] We strive toward an impossible, or at least rosy, future in which we will have met all of our challenges, so that we’ll live in some sort of unreal wonderland on earth. [...]

For example, having as a mother a woman who has once been your wife is rather bewildering, and certainly can lead to all sorts of psychological uneasiness. [...]

[...] I was just sort of happily dopey — no ideas at all. [...]

[...] As it was we spent about half an hour during break in an effort to begin to sort out the impressions. [...]

[...] I’m convinced that this sort of exercise is most valuable in that it helped to shake our consciousness out of its usual focus in objective, ego-oriented reality.

[...] She may have been accident-prone at that time in her life, and the dreams themselves may have acted as suggestion — as a sort of post-hypnotic suggestion that she could fight off for only so long. [...]

There are several kinds of time that will appear within your dreams, and you must sort these out carefully. [...]

I look up and notice an older, short, stout man in a dark purple robe of some sort sitting across from us and realize with a jolt that it is Seth! [...]

Just lately the same sort of thing happened. [...]

[...] “When we have a usual Seth session, I sort of feel Seth take over, though I don’t like that term. [...]

[...] Jane said she had an image of a star of sorts, and that this gave her the idea of fireworks shooting into the sky—thus the idea of a geyser, and something rising and explosive, etc.

[...] Some sort of a change involving your boss, I believe. [...]

[...] This is a sort of spiritual therapy in her case, so that she loses the identification with illness and does not carry it with her.

[...] We played a sort of game: I liked her, but I wasn’t going to be besieged by a barrage of negative thoughts and pessimism for an hour, no matter how wittily presented—and she knew it. [...]

(The next day, Friday, Jane had an auditory “psychic” experience of sorts about the Foster Avenue situation; Saturday morning we made a formal offer to buy the house in question. [...]

[...] It’s a sort of super-relaxation; almost profound, and mental and physical at once. [...]

[...] Perhaps it is golf, then, with an instrument of this sort. [...]

[...] Not only would the reader be constantly involved in looking up specific items, but we felt that the shorter notes especially would be too far removed from their intimate positions within the sessions; we wanted these to enhance individual sessions directly without getting in the way, so I worked out a compromise which offers some sort of orderly presentation without being too rigid.
