[...] Jane called with Carla’s help at 9:50, as I was typing this session. [...]

[...] Somewhere in here I felt that I could have a Seth session regarding Barb. I said this softly to Rob and once to Peg; who knows about the sessions, of course. [...]

[...] Certainly if the Seth sessions had involved this sort of thing—particularly in the beginning—I am pretty sure we wouldn’t have continued them. [...]

[...] Giving test data in the sessions, there are translations that I make and I am careful, trying to interpret what I get; here, the interpretations were already made; at a subconscious level? [...]

[...] Now I’m sort of sorry that people will know about the Seth sessions; know what we’re doing twice a week; and of course this is partially my fault. [...]

[...] I suspect also that throughout the book, without my having checked yet, portions of the sessions have been cut whenever they were dependent upon notes that were cut. Some of the sessions, then, are only a page and a half, or two, long.

(Jane was so relaxed Monday evening that no session was held.

(Since Jane looked at Roger’s list just before the usual session time we thought Seth might consider the questions. [...]

(We thought this data preliminary to the regular session, since Jane will get flashes like this sometimes just before Seth speaks. [...]

[...] She is to carry a copy of this session to Roger in Boston, with our request for a paragraph-by-paragraph analysis of this material by him, for our records.

Now, I want to give you some practical suggestions before the session is through, so I will speak of the most important ones. [...]

(Before the session I asked a question that Seth answered as soon as the session began.)

(Just before I sat down to resume typing this session, Jane made such a remark, about the food she was giving one of our cats for supper.)

(Without necessarily expecting an answer this evening, I asked a question I thought Jane might want to consider if and when she wrote an introduction for this book: Could she dictate the whole book for Seth in, say, a month’s worth of daily sessions, or did she need a certain amount of day-by-day living and experience, over a period of months, perhaps, in order to be able to let the book come through?

Now I will begin, there, on our book at our next session.

(As we sat for the session Jane gave me a copy [which is attached] of the dreams she had while taking a nap this afternoon. [...]

[...] Jane’s delivery had been good throughout the session, and once again she was relaxed now that it was over. [...]

(11:02.) You may want to separate the session at this point.

[...] I will say nothing about the “fact” that you have not together studied the last session, or that Ruburt has not used the hot towels, for I do not need to. [...]

(9:40.) Events obviously are not formed by your species alone, so that, as I mentioned in our last session, there is a level of the dream state in which all earth-tuned consciousnesses of all species and degrees come together. [...]

[...] After giving a page or so of information for Jane and me, as usual, Seth ended the session at 11:55 P.M.

(As mentioned earlier in this manuscript, Jane had received several pages of “James material” which she’d included in Psychic Politics, and Seth had given a session last year explaining her “subjective connections” with James. [...]

[...] As before, we sat in our living room, with the shades pulled and a couple of soft lights on, trying to duplicate the atmosphere of our first session. [...]

SESSION 303

[...] When we sat for the session around 9 PM, Jane said her pendulum told her that the symptoms were caused by the house we lived in, and, specifically, by the original owner. [...]

(Jane was so wrought up that at first she thought a session might not develop. [...]

[...] I also thought that this might stem from Jane’s expressed feelings of anger and resentment before the session, and her demands that Seth help. [...]

The pendulum work and the ideas on the part of the intuitive self began the process, but then the emotional state had to be quieted from a peak condition in order for the session to proceed.
