Dictation: When I speak of natural law, I am not referring to the scientists’ laws of nature, such as the law of gravity, for example — which is not a law at all, but a manifestation appearing from the viewpoint of a certain level of consciousness as a result of perceptive apparatus. [...]

1. Jane delivered this material for Seth in the 42nd session for April 8, 1964: “The universe is continually being created … as all universes are … and the appearance of expansion seen by your scientists is distortive for many reasons.

[...] Our scientists have projected either ending many billions of years into the future, although in the meantime, “only”‘ an estimated five billion years from now, our own aging, exploding sun will have consumed the inner planets of the solar system — including the earth.

[...] Then yesterday, Sunday, she gave a very long session on her own for a visiting scientist. [...]

[...] If [our scientist’s] attitude had been critical, I probably wouldn’t have done as well, though.”

[...] There are miracles of condensed information within the cells themselves that scientists cannot perceive, for they exist outside of the scope of physical instruments. [...]

Scientists have glimpsed the complications of the human body. [...]

[...] That is, your scientists with their instruments perceive only the appearance that these structures take when they fall within the physical system. [...]

A third line supporting your selfhood as you think of it is the reincarnational one.⁹ This is somewhat like the ancestral line (long pause), and there are also reflections in the genes and chromosomes undetected by your scientists. [...]

[...] When one portion or one half of the brain is activated, for example, the corresponding portion of the other half is also activated, but at levels scientists do not perceive. [...]

Now I do not mind being nonscientific, and neither do any of you mind, because if all of your realities were confined to scientific theories you would have no realities at all, and neither would your fine scientists.³⁶ And in my time, I was also quite a dogmatic scientist. The times were different, however, and then I was even more intolerant in my beliefs than your scientists generally — underlined — are today!

In the terms of my book (“Unknown” Reality), I was a dream-art scientist,³⁷ but I was very dogmatic, and I demanded that others follow my symbols and not their own. [...]

And from Session 704: “The dream-art scientist, the true mental physicist, the complete physician — such designations represent the kinds of training that could allow you to understand the unknown, and therefore the known reality, and so become aware of the blueprints that exist beyond the physical universe.”

After making those points, however, I note with some amusement that I find it difficult indeed to believe that many millions of people must wait for a handful of their “superior” peers — philosophers, scientists, psychologists, parapsychologists — to tell them it’s all right to believe in at least a few of the inner abilities that each of us possesses, to whatever degree. [...]

[...] I mentioned in our last session that the scientists did not realize that man has indeed evolved since the development of the human brain. [...]

If you read it sideways, so to speak, you would still end up with an orderly universe, but one in which the nature of identity would be read completely differently, stressing adjacent subjective communications of a conscious kind that form other kinds or patterns of subjectivity and psychological continuity. [...] And “several years” will pass before scientists and engineers pronounce the site finally and safely decontaminated, at who knows what enormous expense, for each step in that cleanup process will have to be scrupulously managed for maximum safety.

[...] Now, you give a strong vitality to our scientist here but it is deceptive because on the surface, it is not apparent, and you have strong abilities and you are using them very well in a probable system of reality. [...]

[...] You are not either the products of some experiment that did not work on the part of superior scientists from another planet. [...]

So what it seems to you or to your scientists occurs outside of you, occurs within you, and now. [...]

Some of this material will automatically answer many questions with which you have been concerned, problems with which your scientists are now dealing. [...]

Some of the scientists equate nuclear power with man’s great curiosity, and feel that they wrest this great energy from nature because they are “smarter than” nature is—smarter than nature, smarter than their fellow men—so they read those events in their own way. [...]
