“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Last night April 23, Monday, Rob suddenly got super-relaxed and really floppy before our scheduled Seth session. [...]

(The idea being since we refuse to take vacations like other people [really before I was physically bothered] we have to have our own equivalent which can be any of the above mentioned at different times. [...]

[...] After a number of hesitations, which only confused Jane as to what I really wanted to do, I sat for the session.

[...] Now Ruburt has much slighter versions, in which, say, daily or weekly tensions no longer collect as they did, which allows him some physical improvement—but he also feels that if he really relaxed he would only do the dishes or whatever. [...]

[...] They can tell you, to some extent, much that you do not know, but unless they really know who and what they are individually, they can lead you astray. [...]

[...] Now, if you really learn to keep track of your dreams and record them over a period of time, you may get a clue as to what these activities are. [...]

(I humorously protested, knowing that she was really tired, and told her not to say anything that later she’d wish we had recorded. [...]

[...] To unscramble it would really be confusing. [...]

[...] I really want to know all about it. [...]

[...] Checking backward through past sessions and Jane’s poetry, I soon learned that her intuitive grasp of the term had always been truer than mine, for I’d carried the idea that “counterpart” implied a status of opposites rather than the complementary one it really does. [...]

[...] Most likely this was my interpretation of her giving birth to the child; she was supposed to have a Caesarean section but didn’t and was in labor 25 hours; a woman is described here, gray hair, buck teeth, yellow teeth—this, Barb says, is a description of the man’s mother—she wanted him to marry Barb: teeth not really buck but protuberant and yellowed; also gray hair. [...]

[...] Things are really changing.... [...]

[...] While trying psychological time on June 18,1964, I had a very startling experience in which I was told by a thunderous voice that John’s trouble lay really in a “bad tongue.” [...]

[...] They had recognized elements of my voice, but because of the volume did not really think it was mine. [...]

[...] Your friend, Miss Callahan, said that she was going away, and that she did not really want to go away. [...]

Ruburt is working through the philosophical problems that were really only questions not completely asked. [...]

They are not forgotten, but the people involved simply close their own eyes, so to speak, to those decisions, and pretend (underlined) that they do not exist, simply to make their lives appear smooth and to save face with themselves, when they know very well that the decisions really rest on very shaky ground indeed.

(“I also got that he’s going to say that in ordinary terms we don’t have access to all the information we’ve got at one time because consciously it would be so hard to sort through it — but that we really are conscious of it, and for working purposes we just pretend that we aren’t. He’s said that before — that the so-called unconscious portions of ourselves are in themselves quite conscious.”

[...] Jane said Teresa “was really going last night.” [...]

[...] Jane said she really cried out loud—calling my name out to help her get well, and so forth. [...]

[...] He began to go into the inner senses more thoroughly and Rob really pricked up his ears, hoping that Seth would mention his three recent experiences. [...]

[...] Rob really had a great time, though, for the twenty-fifth session he didn’t have to take notes while we tried out the recorder. [...]

[...] I did not really feel like taking fifteen to twenty pages of dictation from Seth; I was concerned lest I miss some of the material.

[...] I thought sardonically, “A guest from another layer of reality is one thing, but do you really want your friends to meet him?” Finally my nervousness was so apparent that Rob asked me what was wrong. [...]

[...] Really, Ruburt, I’m surprised at you. [...]

[...] I can of course dissociate myself but the effort involved in doing this and returning is really not quite worth the effort. [...]

[...] After our last arduous meeting you really needed a bit of relaxation. [...]

It is not that I wasn’t feeling humorous this evening, merely that I didn’t think you could stand the full force of my really astounding sardonic nature. [...]

Other concepts are really not basically workable even in your own physical reality. [...]

[...] You may believe that the soul “descends” into the body, and therefore that the body is lower, inferior, and a degraded version of “what you really are.” [...]

Dictation: Many of you do not really want to step out of the photograph, or leave your world view, yet in the dream state you are far freer. [...]

[...] The unknown reality, you see, is not really that mysterious to you. [...]

([Arnold:] “There isn’t really any outside to us is there? [...]

[...] I would like to suggest an experiment and I am suggesting it to you to see your reaction, like I couldn’t. I was really undecided whether to suggest it to Jane or to you, but you see like I’m kind of at an impasse because, like, there are a lot of words and a lot of concepts and philosophies bandied about, but when you make a claim you know such as that in as specific and nonconfusable terms such as that it would be very simple to demonstrate, and what I was wondering is, either now or at some time when Jane would agree to it, for instance, I brought some playing cards with me, ten cards...”)

([Ron:] “Did he really attain it?”)

[...] And since past, present and future exist now in your terms you need bridges, because you do not really understand the nature of time, so you think you need a bridge to get from past to present or from past to future or from one kind of reality to another. [...]

([Janice:] “I wasn’t really aware that I was hollering at myself. [...]

[...] Is this necessary really?”)

[...] “I’m not blocking,” she repeated several times, reiterating that she really wanted the session, no matter what it said.)

[...] She did very well, discussing them, and finished up being really enthused. [...]

You must realize, again, that we are speaking of divisions for convenience’s sake, where none really exists. [...]

(Now Seth’s voice really began to boom out.)

[...] Each of you are as familiar with the so-called birth of the universe, as close to it or as distant [from it], as your own recognized consciousness is to your own physical birth, for the initiation of awareness and sensation in one infant really carries all of the same questions as those involved with the birth of the universe.
